For real life characters no tv is required...
The ideal characters r so rare that they exist in tellyland only.
Audience identify ckts & get their egos satiated...
That's y all stories 'd b like that only..
Even the so called reality shows r like wwf fake fights no?

I partially agree with Sumitra, I think Anandi should have stepped aside for other panch members to take a decision regarding family. Just in case B&G were in fact right and she had made a judgement in their favor, villagers would have called her partial. Just like surgeons don't operate on their own family members, I think Anandi should have stepped aside. That way B&G would atleast not be angry with the family. Bhairav sometimes expects too much from Anandi.

I think that if Gauri ever goes back to the haveli and Gehna is still there, this time, the latter would support Gauri in returning to this place, and accept her as a part of the family, thereby thumbing her nose @ Bairon & Sumitra.

Nothing can make the serial survive now...its titanic time started...that's y every one's jumping out looking 4 life boat soaps..

Sloppiness in writing - Gehna's turn at receiving end;

1. A few days back (Anandi playing with Phooli's child), she compassionately observed how maternity instict was a natural extension of Anandi's tender disposition--><-- today she is accusing Anandi of insensitivity to a child's pain or security

2. A staunch defender of Anandi's trampled rights. -><- Stingy charge of her 'power aspiration'.

3. A well adjusted and important cog of a united family -><- Combative, snappy and heedless to codes of a joint family household.

4. Tersely forbidding Nandu to mingle with family members- on issue of his strife- upping the ante for an insignificant 'strife' -><- No such restriction to mingle with actual contender- and thereby implying her acceptance of strife as insignificant children's skirmish.

5. A mature restraining influences on her impatient husband -><- instigating and encouraging her already inflamed husband.

Too abrupt a change-over in such a well defined character; parental jealousy or no jealousy- exit or no exit.
