I'm wondering if bade papa couldnt have counselled gauri or something like that.
Why did he break the relationship. I understand he is not happy with her hiding the truth from him, but still it seems a little harsh to me that he just broke it off.
With shivani and kundatai -- i can understand that there was no great relationship with gauri - and so any sort of counseling would have seemed a little inappropriate and intrusive.
But bade papa has been almost a famly member and a mentor -- and is substantially elder. i think he could have atleast taken the time to counsel gauri and set her on whatever he saw as the right path.
