Liked how all the panch of the other villages seemed stunned by A declaring she will take it to court 😊 !

Ab ayega mazaa...I bet along with Bharat's family, all the elders of that village must also be feeling threatened that if the court can nullify their opinion, then what face will they have to impose their ancient rules n judgement s ?

BV is doing a good job 👏, by exposing the misuse of an old practise and disbarring it while clarifying that the practise per say was not as bad as its misuse was.

Those panch pradhans of bharat's vilage had already decided in bharats favor even before the panchayath began its proceeding..Why would they oppose natha😡-its convienient for them-dont give women any rights,use abuse ,throw her away under the guise of age old traditions😳..But with a women as sarpanch their wrong decisions will be challenged...

Such a change in anandi's body language⭐️-from a docile beendni to an assertive sarpanch👍🏼,she spoke with such authority and righteous anger at women been brough and sold in the name of natha..

Bharat was so scared the moment anandi declared she was going to court for phoolis rights,abb inki dadagiri nahi chalegi...He should rot in jail..😡

What I did not understand was how this works. There were two village leaders - both anandi and the head of bharat's village.

How can bharat's village head simply unilaterally decide that the panchayat meeting is adjourned and that bharat wins?

What about anandi's perspective (since there are two sarpanches) -- and what about the four old men who are (supposedly) part of anandi's team?

What I mean is that where was the majority vote for the bharat's sarpanch to over-ride anandi the jayetsar sarpanch?

It was a stand-off Tinoo. In the absence of a clear majority status quo gets maintained. In this case - things being as they were.

Plus - Anandi was against it, but the body language of her panch was also not completely with her. That was shown even when they came to the haveli earlier.

tinoo, that panchayath is male dominated ,no representation for women,hence no one to raise voice for the abused women..thats where anandi as sarpanch makes a diference-even when she talked to her own panch pradhans in haveli they were saying,"what can we do,natha is age old aceptable tradition"..but anandi convinced them it was time to break those anti women malpractices ...

There are other women sarpanches today in many villages nowadays. I wonder if they get to do women-oriented stuff too or whether they are kept back by the old male fuddy-duddies 😆😆
