Gauri gests ready to go to hospital. Jagat returns from night shift and Gauri asks him to drop her. Jagat says he is too tired. Gauri gets irritated and leaves. She realises that she has forgotten her purse.

Meanwhile Jagat calls Anandi to congratulate her on being sarpanch. He requests her to gift something to Phooli's baby on his behalf. Anandi says she will. He turns around to see Gauri standing there. She starts yelling as usual about Jagat talking to Anandi, while Anandi listens to all this. Anandi hangs up. Gauri taunts Jagat about her paying car installments and not being able to use it. Jagat is mad. Gauri leaves in a huff.
Anandi happily comes with Gulli to Phooli's house with loads of toys. Anandi happily plays with the baby and looks very excited. She gives all the toys to Phooli. She gives a teddy bear on Jagya's behalf. Phooli's MIL comes there and takes the baby away and asks Phooli to come to the pooja. Anandi is puzzled.
The sooraj pooja ceremony is carried out and naming ceremony begins. Phooli tells Anandi that the name she suggested (Shlok) was good and her MIL and husband liked it too. Anandi requests MIL to give the baby for a while to her, but MIL is rude to her.Just as the ceremony commences and Phooli's hubby gets a call. He goes aside to answer it. Anandi is puzzled. Anandi goes in to get all the gifts. She hears Phooli's hubby talking to some woman, he promises her that everything will go according to her wishes. Anandi is left thinking.
Phooli's hubby returns to the ceremony and declares that the baby's name is Ghanshyam. Anandi, Phooli and MIL are shocked. Anandi is suspicious of Phooli's husband.
Precap : Phooli sees her MIL feeding the baby with a bottle and asks her why she is doing that since the baby is too small for that. MIL replies that she is trying to get the baby used to live without Phooli. Phooli is shocked
