LOL vasu. Absolutely. Some of the representation of true love and Ja-Ga romance are absolutely immature to say the least . There is hardly an understanding of the full implication of abusive marriage, adultery or illicit relationships. 😆 Maybe there are plenty of teen viewers for BV and the scenes are targeted to them. I sincerely hope they never come across such horrors in their own lives. But the mothers of pre-teen and teen viewers should be careful about letting the kids watch BV. If this is what they are learning about true love then imagine the horror if they start imitating them too!! Lol !! I dread to think Jagya and Gauri as teen models, already teens are pretty bent on being adamant and breaking rules. Now with ideas of bigamy, illicit relationships, being a mistress, infidelity, selfishness being glorified as juvenile romance in BV, the show is a danger potion for juvenile teens.

Imagine a girl of 16 falling for a married man and arguing "Mummy why can't I be a mistress like Gauri. She gets to wear such nice salwars and play with besan and eat popcorn. Their true love is sooo sweet."

Oh the horror, the horror!! 😲😲😆

quite possibly. 😆 Maybe the Ja-Ga romance scenes are written by teen interns working for Colors as part of their degree requirement😆. That explains the tacky scenes and the glorification of their true romance with chaat, poha, chai and 5 straw wala Pepsi.

Maybe that's why they are also hesitant to pen down SR scenes for Ja-Ga😉
So true love is limited to popcorns and poha, masala chai and 5 strawed Pepsi😆

@Antara

My God! You're going on and on! You attacked CVs and also certain fan groups and are poking fun at certain age-groups.Beware of the ''report'' button and warnings from mods.

Why do you want to invite public rebukes from mods by talking so freely and openly? Tumhara anushasan kahan hai? Be disciplined and maintain your own respect!😊

[BTW, jokes apart, I really think we should not indulge in ageism. Teens are not all silly. Many are sensible too!]

@annika: I want to be reported against so that the mods ban me from the forum and I get over my addiction😉. I am dying of work pressure and yet can't stay away from the forum totally.😉

By the way, I don't think all teens are silly. However, I certainly feel Ja-Ga's romance is a bit juvenile and since it has the possibility of hitting a nerve with the teen crowd, the CVs should be more careful about what they are portraying.
Isn't it true that teens are more impressionable than more adult people? What is the guarantee that younger audience will not start idealizing Ja-Ga romance for all the wrong reasons while missing out on the more serious implications of their relationship?? The way CVs are portraying Ja-Ga are as if they are any carefree young couple without the baggage. The more complex issues of bigamy, infidelity and illicit relationships are being overshadowed by an emphasis on their silly romance.

And when I see the Cvs churning out such dangerous stuff in the garb of teen romance that can instantly appeal to the younger audience, I think that's pretty scary. Aren't the Cvs glorifying and neutralizing the seriousness of an illicit relationship by reiterating those very markers of stereotypical on-screen teen romance? How different are Ja-Ga 's romance scenes from a typical college romance scene in any movie? The Cvs are using the same models but in a completely illegal/ immoral/socially despicable relationship.

Are we sure that the teens watching these and identifying with Ja-Ga will be judicious enough to enjoy only the on-screen romance part and despise the actual implication of the relationship? I don't think so and hence my complaint to the Cvs.

Antara , u stole my words, let me be kicked out from the forum it would be such a relief and wont sneak from work to get on this forum.

What CV's are doing is knowingly or unknowingly , giving an impression that luv and want can justify all means. They lyk many movies and serials are typcasting this so called luv as the end all of lyf and the only truth. This gives an impression to teens and maybe some other age groups that those blushes, that foreplay can compensate for bigamy, fidelity, lying and even corruption. The fact is teens or the ones at the end of that cusp hide their college and school romances from parents, it already gives them that mystic , alluring hgh and when they see characters lyk JAGA getting away and living a blssful lyf even in the midst of all this legal and moral hassles, it insinuates them to take their lead, sometyms if they r lucky the romance fizzles down, or comes to the notice of the parents, in the latr case they make decisions that they latr regret...

Y do we have increase in teen pregnancies, domesitc violence etc., tv is such a powerful medium in India, censor board should discourage channels from promoting or sympathizing with these characters. If every channel stops then it wont affect the trp game, coz no matr what people will watch tivo lyk they did during the dordashan dayz.

Parental discretion is very important and parents should actually have this talk with their kids and discuss these issues.

And Mods , no1 here is critical of any actor on this show, v just discuss what the episode shows , v critique the CV's and the character sketch and even the episode itself issues a moral thought(how lame they r sumtyms is anodr thing) , so maybe u should also encourage a healthy discussion on these very relavant social issues.
