1. Anandi moving on to become a successful woman. She gradually gains confidence and changes from a housewife to an independent woman. Her personality changes so much----------she becomes confident, assertive, strong----that even Jagya is stunned by her change. Also, she becomes more successful like Jagya and at some point Jagya has to attend to her as his senior authority. Jagya shocked and dumb founded. Anandi decides to stay single for the moment but might fall for someone like Raj Kiran later.
2. Jagya and Gauri are fraught with insecurities and mistrust in their marriage. Jagya getting frustrated by a Gauri who is no more perfect and Gauri wrecked by guilt and insecurity. Gauri is already mentally unstable----so the whole stress of disapproval, curses, and illegal marriage might be too much to handle. She becomes a mental wreck like Smita Patil, hallucinating Anandi in her house, and becomes so hysterical that Anandi has to come and convince her that she is not interested in Jagya anymore. In the meantime, Jagya regrets his decision and pines for Anandi----------since he is a guy who is never happy with what he has.
3. Gauri's bade papa enters the scene, blasts Jagya for Gauri's state and takes her away. Gauri is helped by a counselor and finally gains her sanity. She realizes what a slime Jagya is, her own mistakes in marrying Jagya and hurting Anandi. She feels sorry for her deed, leaves Jagya and finally asks for forgiveness from Anandi. Anandi and Gauri both have a successful life and are friendly to each other now. Gauri meets her NRI guy again and finally settles with him.
4. Jagya na ghar ka na ghat ka decides to return to Anandi and work in his dadisa's hospital. He goes to Anandi but Anandi refuses to take him in, with the famous dialogue in Arth----"If I had done what you did, would you have taken me back?"
He goes to the hospital and finds Lal Singh as the chief medical officer there. Lal Singh tells him that he can appoint Jagya as an intern but he needs permission from the Singh family. Jagya goes to his family and asks for forgiveness from everyone. He says he has lost Anandi and doesn't want to lose his family anymore. The family finally forgives him. He becomes a changed man---more humbled, more compassionate and extremely sorry for ruining the life of two girls.
