And my own thinking... if I were in the situation is that if I were Gauri, I would try to earn the goodwill of the villagers - maybe by having a three day health camp in jayetsar for women and children - so that villagers had some respect for my skills and talent and education and dont just think of me as a baazaru aurat. Yes, I may be the second beendni of the badi haveli, but I have some redeeming qualities.
Why will the villagers respect her for going around with no pallu in transparent two colour saris?
