u can't force change people mentality in one day. Its formed gradually and will change gradually by educating thm and not by shouting on thm. U can't force anyone change their thinking. U can convince but not force. Forcing will give reverse result.

Tanvi - this is how the whole world used to be for the longest time. even at the start of life - EVE supposedly bit the apple first...Adam also took a bite but the blame fell on EVE.

This mentality is slowly changing but we all have a long way to go b4 the world can be fairly balanced. For the longest time - eve teasers went scot- free and their victims got told stuff like - they must've walked in a certain way or not covered up or given the guys enough reasons to think their advances were welcomed etc etc...

I remember seeing a movie called 'Boys will be boys' recently. Its based on a real incident in an american school where some well-to-do boys who were also good at sports etc and had influential parents, were allowed to get away with everything until a girl got pregnant. Even then, she was made to seem like a tart and the whole school and society tried to boycott her and her folks until thru some other incedent that guy was proved guilty...! the school and the society's logic had been - boys will be boys but girls shud be more careful and look out for themselves else they have only themselves to blame.

Our villages are also no exception...but it is heartening to see people like Bhairon who do not discriminate
