It is not easy for a married woan to walk out of it so eaily in the first place. Plus keep in mind, Anandi comes from a small town, the culture and family prestige is the first thing they are taught to think of before their own personal happiness. Also she truely loved Jagya, inspite of all his misdoings. She is doing the right thing in not disclosing anything as decisions taken in haste may not always be the right decisions. And Gauri is a live example and proof of that. She forced jags to visit his family for her so called aashirwad inspite of knowing that he had a wife sitting and waiting at home for his return. What on earth was she expecting, his family would acept her with open arms? Had she waited for some time and let the things settle down, may be jags family would have got over the fact and accepted both in some way. I know of more than two families where a man is leaving legally with his two wives treating them both with due respect. Take the instance of Dharmendra and Hema Malini, both are bvery respected people in the industry and regarded highly by all and sundry. Not that I am in favor of such marraiges, but after all its destiny.
And such thigs happens more in big cities, as all these people I know are from Mumbai.
One of my brother's friend's father married his wife's younger sister. The girl had come over to help her elder sister for her delivery and gor involved with her brother in law and stayed with him till the end of his life. After several years history repeated itself in the same family. The elder daughter of the first wife was pregnant, the younger daughter of her went to help out, got invilved with her brother in law and is now staying with them as his second wife. Imagine if your own sister can do this to you, Gauri is just an outsider and was actually married to jags in her childhood. I am not trying to justify such situations here, but such things do happen in real life or often than we think. Human relationships are very complex and very fragile at the same time.
Even God cannot fathom the hearts of us humans and so gives up on us at times.
