yes so well written patelcharu. i totally agree every word uve written. if only jagya gauri marriage is legal then all other marriages including bhairav and sumitra is illegal? what a joke. in india lots of hindu marriages happen in the temples and are considered more legal than anything else. most imp family acceptance has to be there and they r the best witnesses. without the family blessings no one can survive happily anywhere. can gauri survive with that paper marriage certificate? she cannot and thats why she has come here for family acceptance. bec even though shes a doctor her conscious knows there are more imp things in life than proving legality.

Please note that nobody here is in support of child marriage...it is evil and illegal.
but there is a law that say if a child is married and the marriage is not annuled by age 18 then it becomes total lagal...and it makes alot to sence to me. let me explain.

If you dont want the marriage you should break it up immediately you become an adult. if not, that means you like it . Now to protect to other person(mostly to woman) if you didnt she becames legally your wife by law. and has all right any other married woman has to her husband.

The law makers knows the the girls or boys are innocent at the time but can also turn evil that why they had to protect the other person. if a girl like Anandi has no right what so ever...than believe me that most men will want to marry before 18 so they can do they crip and their wives will not have any protection.

So to cut the long story short...STOP SAYING ANANDI AND JAGYA'S MARRIAGE IS NOT LEGAL!

IT IS TOTALLY LEGAL!!!!!!

And i know there more to why Jagya had to pay big amount for GaGa's wedding...it didnt even follow legal procedure. the legal office people were suppose to investigate about couple before getting them married but they didnt...I AM SURE GaGa marriage will be void by the law in the future episode.

Hey, I've posted this in validity topic and am posting it here again...

This wonderful theory postulated by our very own 'bina degree ka daactar' Jagya, that his marriage to Anandi is null and void since they were both children at the time of solemnization of the marriage is utterly, butterly, baseless.

Acc to the Hindu Marriage Act, Child Marriage is not a void offence but a voidable offence under clause (b) of sub-section 1 of Section 12 (Voidable Marriage); i.e. it will only be nullified after the concerned party moves to court and is able to prove that at the time of marriage the boy was below 21 and the girl below 18 yrs of age.

So before marrying Gauri, Jagya will have to move to court.

The Child Marriage Restraint Act 1929 and the Hindu Marriage Act , focus on restraining such marriages and do not comment on its validity.

Also, judgements regarding such cases where the husband moves to court, saying that his marriage is invalid since he was a child groom and hence he is free to marry another girl, after consummating the marriage with his wife and after both have gained the marriageable ages say that in that circumstance the marriage is neither void nor voidable.

In such circumstance, the boy will have to take proper divorce from his wife, else he would be punished for bigamy.

In all, this crap which they are showing about the bechara pratadit Jagya and his child marriage is totally unlawful...Anandi still is his wife and has the right to claim maintenance and everything.

Vidushi...

Hi All,

I am a silent reader of this forum for a long time. I thought of making this post after seeing the episodes for the last two weeks.

I thought bachpan mein Gauri wanted to get out of the marriage right?😕 I thought she would be happy in becoming a successful person in life..but she is behaving as if she would have loved to be the bade haveli ki beendni 😲

And why is she still so traumatised? Does not she have any self-respect? Craving for ashirwad and blah blah..she should never have married Jag after knowing his lies...I think it is only deteriorating the image of educated women in the society!😡

I don't know if you all will agree with me.

Plz do give me your opinions!

I think CVs are confused. First, they show that Gauri is against child marriage. Now they show that Gauri is using her child marriage as an excuse to be in the family.

I think all these themes could have been easily touched WITHOUT making Gauri same as Gudiya. Gauri could have been any other girl and the conflict of child marriage would have been more poignant.

Now they are mixing child marriage to fight child marriage. Ironical.

CVs can do anything to dramatize their story. It has no bearing to reality or social message. This is why I get VERY IRRITATED with their moral of the day moral science lessons etc. When all they are doing is making money and using stupid story lines to increase TRPs why do they pretend to be the beacon for social message, Isn't it hypocrisy!!!!

She wants to do whatever Anandi wants to do. Since Anandi was Jagya's wife, Gauri also wanted to be Jagya's wife. Since Anandi was a full time beendni, Gauri also wants to be a full time beendni. Since Anandi was Nandu's bhabhi, she also wanted to be nandu's bhabhi. Since Anandi is adored in the family, she wants to be adored in the family. Since the villagers are calling Anandi badnaseeb, she also wants to be called badnaseeb. The list goes on...

Now if Anandi decides to study and become a doctor, Gauri will also get frustrated with her beendni-ship and want to complete her medical studies.

Seems Gauri's real obsession is Anandi, not Jagya, not even the Singh family.

I know many of you want to see Gauri and Jagya together and wish Anandi gets someone better and study. But I don't understand Gauri and her behavior right now.

In the beggining of the show she seems smart, sensible, understanding, and well balanced character but I don't understand her now. She is constantly feeling hurt that no one in the family is accepting her.
When she got married to Jagya did she think that the family is going to accept her with open arms even though his first wife is still there? Even more does she not remember when she got married it was Jagya's parents who refused to accept there wedding? Even when she committed suicide and was sent to Jagya house it was Bhariav who refused her to stay in the house. Has she forgotten this? Even when she declared it was her who got married to him when they were little what makes her think that his parents would accept her now as they didn't when she was little. Just because she is legally married to Jagya she feels that she should have all the rights of a D-I-L, but those rights are earned not given. Even if Jagya wasn't married they still got married against his parents wishes. Don't they have the rights to be upset at them, at her? I'm not sure how much truth he has told Gauri about his and Anandi's relationship or when both his parents came to Mumbai and what happened but shouldn't Gauri make the attempts on winning them over instead of sulking at their rude behavior?

As for the B&S and B&G they have a bad image of Gauri in there mind. Thye think JaGa had a live in relationship (which neither JaGa ever clarified) and got married secretly. To them she is manipulated Jagya in to marring her. So I don't really blame them for not giving Gauri a chance.

Also what does Gauri think will happen to Anandi? Have her sent back to her parents house? She has not once thought about her or her future. Which is understandable as she shouldn't as she is married to Jagya. But has Gauri once ever thought the trauma she went through after her marriage with Jagya when she was little, Anandi is going through far worst when they are older.

With all that has happened she feels bad when someone says or doesn't say something. Did she really think that after them getting married everything was going to be peachy with her and the family? Or the family would readily give there blessing to them?

Your thoughts?
