I could not understand Gauri today

gauri is a sweet person. I have no doubt.

She told J that she just wants to try and does not expect them to accept...Then why was she asking,"why r u doing this to your son?" to Bhairon...Gauri child marriage was aborted, she was insulted in her village, but she was one of the lucky who got educated...Instead of feeling happy that she was saved from the shackles of child marriage she regrets till today that her child marriage got aborted and her 11 year old groom left him. How could she expect another girl who has lived 16 years with her husband as wife should leave everything and accept it. If as Gauri says Bhairon ditches his bahu who lived for 16 years for his son, then how long will it take to ditch his new bahu for his son's next new wife...What ameaningless question from a rational character like Gauri.

J is a scoundrel no doubt, but Gauri who was brought up in a village, has gone through atrocities like bal vivah and the way women get treated when their husband abandons them did not bother to think about anandi. She can marry J, but did she ask him what will happen to A's future. What is the plan for her. She felt marrying J was ok becoz he will not go back to A. G is educated, did she ever think how will A support herself? As a girl who has educated and has seen problems in life how could she not think even a moment for A. What is the point of education if people cannot think.

G is av ery nice girl. She would have 100 men way better than J. Ok she loves J, but once when she got to know all the lies she could have atleast enquired what relation he shared with his ex wife...Any woman wants to know the physical and mental relationship her man shared with any other woman.

I wish Gehna has said just one more thing. "today you left A becoz you found G better, will u leave G if you find someone else better?"

I hope G wakes up...It was just not the fault of child marriage...J is sick-he is does not respect people, friends anyone...its not late, she can leave J knowing his truth for better future. A and G should get back together improve in their career, work for the society and also find better life partners for their future.. let J rot...

I hope G is shown rational as she was always portrayed earlier. let this love not blind her believes and morals in life.

dint read ur whole post but u seem to be very confused jagat was badly hit so she was protecting her husband,she brought him there right over there .she wanted to explain them n open their eyes regarding their relation .she dint mean throw anandi out of family but now she also becomes bahu of their house so she should ask for acceptance right.she never had anything bad for anandi but everyone one day should except the truth right ,as for anandi i think it was good atleast now she saw the truth she is out of those old memories of jagat.

I am confused about Gauri from the day she learnt the truth. Before that, Gauri was a very likeable character, very close to any real life, educated girl in her early 20s. Am sure a lot of people, including me, could identity with Gauri and her balanced and sensible attitude.

However, off late she seems to be a different person. When Jagat had narrated the story of his fictional friend, Gauri instantly identified with the plight of the wife, and could see the faults of the guy. However, when it came it her own case and she got to know Jagya's real story, she had a completely different reaction. I am amazed how she doesn't have an iota of feeling or empathy for Anandi or how she completely overlooks Jagya's faults!!! All she is concerned about is to establish herself as the rightful Bahu of the family!!! Doesn't she realize why the family has disowned Jagya? Why does she insist on imposing herself on the family even when they asked them to go away? Does she have no feelings for Anandi who had the worst experience in this child marriage?

Gauri is definitely not someone who practices what she preaches.

i agree that till G didn't know abt the J's marriage wid A i really liked her ckt. but now her actions r quesnable!! and if shes so nice then she wudn't've got married 2 J!!🥱🥱

I personally have been Bahing Gauri about all these from the beginning of their stay-together back in the city.
She seems to leave her brains in the class room...lol
I wrote earlier that she is accepting Jagya's hand in marriage without thinking about her own principle on Marriage, either she is just stupid like her parents or very selfish like Jagya.
She forgot Anandi was there for her when she was the one Jagya didnt like, when she was in trouble, but now, right in front of Anandi, she was trying to claim her right.
I like the look on her face when Anandi was was talking. i am sure she was expecting Anandi to fight over her right on Jagya but Anandi didn't👍🏼. she should start think if a guy can leave a woman like Anandi, would i have a chance of happily ever after?

If Gauri still stays with Jagya after knowing the whole truth.I dont know what to say...She's behaving like an ostritch who's head is buried in the sand.Love is blind but in her case its brainless and foolish as well.

@tanvismile its not about legal or illgal...even if her marriage is legal wen she comes to know tht Jagya is a lier and a cheater she should leave him.I mean any logical person wld do tht.
If she's staying for revenge thts a diff issue but if its for love.Tht wld look totally fake.I am sure she has tht much self respect tht she'll choose not to stay with a disgusting person like Jagya.
