At Balika Vadhu Forum, even with the background of a fictional serial....we are talking about what is ethically right and what is wrong, at the core of our hearts we want the right thing done. We are fed up of wrong practices, corruption...unethical system. Its time for us NOW to take a stand tyo cleanse the entire system.

Government officers and ministers are the ones involved in corruption and scams...and ironically they are the ones to make and implement laws against corruption? ...Is it not like asking a criminal to be the police and judge of his own case??

The Lokpal Bill deals with such issues....but Indian governnment and politicians do not want it implemented, as it means end of corruption era for them!

Let support the cause!...Lets join hands together to support this 73 year old ex army man-Anna Hazare, who was the one to give the Right to Infomation!!..Now we want the passing of the Lokpal Bill!!

Please join the movement in your area....and share with us your stories...inspire ..motivate..stand and spread this message!

👍🏼 ABSOLUTELY !! I am supporting this movement to fight against corruption...

We do have various events planned in San Francisco and Silicon Valley...I am for sure attending the candle light march and fasting.....People in Bay Area, California do join in ! Lets support in getting rid of the corrupt neta's and corruption in India....Support for Jan Lok Pal Bill and Anna Hazare !

Government has accepted all our demands and I will end my fast tomorrow at 10:30AM. This is a victory for the entire nation - Anna Hazare👏

👏..Yeah Jyo..though we have just won a war...we still need to win the battle....we should not cool the movement down till the time actually the bill is drafter, accepted and passed into a legislation.

Woohooo...👏👏 kudos to Anna Hazare and to all Indians....but as hima_123 said we need to keep the movement going till the govt actually drafts and passes the bill in the legislation....I would soo love to see a corruption free India... ⭐️ mera bharat mahaan, magar corruption se pareshan...Its high time we get real freedom !

The fight against corruption is a never ending battle,even after the bill is passed it wouldn't be some magic wand that would take away all the coruption in our country🤔 -its a small step in the right direction,anna has been fighting tirelessly for decades and iam glad the young generation is joining his fight now..and seeing anna's gandhian priotest with ordinary people joining him in fasting and winning this battle gives hope to ordinary people that if we unite we certainly can steer our country in the right direction 👍🏼...

1. Who is Anna Hazare?

An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.
In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India . It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?
This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India .

6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

7. It's an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

8. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?
The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.
Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the LOK PAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

9. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?
A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

10. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?
Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.
Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

11. Ok, got it. What can I do?
At least we can spread the message. How?
Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.
At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India .
At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.
At least we can pray for his good health.
