Hi Friends. Sorry if my post disputes with many of your opinion. This is purely how I see this.

I have been reading since long that people are very upset with Gauri and does not like Jag/Gauri. Everyone wants Gauri to get someone else and Jag to come back to Anandi.

I have slightly different views on this. Definitely at the end Jag and Anandi need to be together but this track actually focuses the issue of child marriage. Logically this is very much possible that the guy may not like a village girl after going to City. This is a practical scenario. This show does focus on -ve side of child marriage and the impact of lack of studies for girls.
I think this has been beautifully potrayed. This says....what happens when the kids grow up and build love for someone else!!! also leaving the girls uneducated brings chaos to their lives...which must be avoided.
I would love if Anandi gets educated more than Jag and teach a lessoon than being a typical village wife and cry for her husband!

Barring few, I think most people on the forum actually like Gauri. We are more afraid that they will end up butchering Gauri's character. Like you said, they could have shown Jagya and Anandi's mental distance because of Anandi's lack of education. But they made Jagya much crueller than needed, in a way that clashes with his previous characterization, so that now most people hate Jagya. This was not needed. Now we are afraid the same will happen with Gauri, in order to show Anandi as sati-savitri she will be made the vamp. And we don't want that to happen. If Anandi studies and becomes more independent, thats great, but her constant harping on Jagya needs to stop. She needs to learn to do things for her own sake, not to please Jagya or Dadi-sa. If that happens, that will be great. Jagya is a little difficult to redeem at the moment, I don't know how they will manage it. I hope Gauri leaves him right after he confesses his love for her, and Anandi is too busy with her studies to give him attention.

BTW the things they show are mostly right but portrayed wrongly. E.g. leaving the girl uneducated-- Anandi had a big chance to get educated, she lost it because she played obedient bahu to Dadi-sa. Then she went away to her mayka and still didn't study for several years! When they showed her begging to study and DS laying down the law people sympathized with her, but this sitting at home for several years talking to dolls lost her a lot of support. Similarly at first when Jagya was impatient with Anandi for her gawarpan some of us thought it was quite realistic. But now they show him being needlessly cruel to her which was not in his character at all, just to magnify her sufferings. This exaggeration is where most of us have a problem.

Am never upset with Gauri... She is a nice girl and deserves someone much better than Jagya..
Yes Gauri should leave Jagya but Anandi should not accept his soon.. she need to teach him a BIG lesson of life and when she is sure that he is sudharofied, she should say good bye to him..
Jagya has gone too far that his return to Anandi's life is very hard.

@sas_s

I completely agree with your POV...In fact I have been an ardent fan of Gauri since the character was introduced and also of the concept of Jagya going away from Anandi because according to me that would actually depict the evil side of child marriage...Come to think of it, Jagya-Anandi marriage was a forced marriage, when they were very young, now that both have grown up, I feel every individual has a right to choose how he/she wants to live. So, I supported Jagya when he fell for Gauri after moving to the city. However, this was short lived because the CV's turned him into a villain, although I understood his feelings, his lying and two timing did not go down well with me and most of the people here (If I am not wrong)....If Jagya had come clean right in the beginning and told Gauri the truth and also had a clean break up with Anandi, then I would have supported him whole heartedly, coz he too is a human being and has a right to live life as he wants. One cannot force him to be with Anandi just because of a forced child marriage. But, the CV's seem to have a totally different game plan...so we just have to go with the flow. Nonetheless I am very happy that Anandi will be studying now, however as atria said her Jagya obsession needs to stop, and she has to think about herself. Gauri on the other hand is the most lovable girl, who has fought for herself and come this far in life, she deserves much better things and happiness. Jagya needs to reform himself, although the damage has been done, donno how the CV's will shape his character going forward.

I agree with the points mentioned above. I completely see where u're coming from. It is quite a natural thing for villages to leave their home for a better lifestyle to go to urban areas and then not look back once they settle in and get addicted to the lifestyle there. Same case goes when people leave their homeland to come to States, England, Canada, etc. and forget all about their roots. Younger teens come here for better education but then doesn't want to return back for the most part as life here sucks them into its own charm and fun that despite of all the hardwork and painstaking seems more alluring than the comforts back home.

On the same note, it is not out of character for Jagya to respond to Gauri and behave with Anandi like so. My issue is that his character should behave abruptly with her, more of a confused stance and all rather than being plain out cruel and throwing daggers at poor Anandi's heart as if she didn't do anything for him or his family. If one could only rememher how Jagya is studying in that med college today and who is the 'REAL' reason behind it, Jagya would at least have some shame and some guilt in pursuing another girl there. Attraction could be there but it would have been better told had he disclosed his identity and truth first and then moved over to this attraction with all the facts in front of Gauri already. That could have been more of a two friends coming closer together out of chances and circumstances rather than one lying about his entire sad existance (aka Jagya) and leading on the other girl..

Similarly, Anandi is not some uneducated girl from a village. She was smarter, wittier and much more courageous than Jagya ever was or ever could be .. Be it in studies, in street smarts, in kindness or even in saving others'lives and losing her own at the end of it. So its harder for me to digest that after they have been in love and have consummated and everything, Jagya just changes his attitude like so and starts calling her an illterate.. Honestly now, Anandi can beat him down in anything given the time and opportunity and Jagya knows this more than anbody else! So I this whole thing didnt sit well with me. Then Anand's constant harping of how she wants to study ahead for Jagya and to please him and to do this or that but for Jagya is another thing that I don't like... But overall... Story's headed in right direction. I do want Anandi to cross Jagya in studies, get better grades and then to face the harsh reality that her Jagya has already fallen for the other girl and no amount of studying or begging or pleas is going to bring him back. Its better to move on with her life and have another new entry of a bloke who would be as generous and giving as Anandi is.. Jagya needs to be taught a lesson out of separation and Anandi's flourishing career. I just can't wait for that to happen (if I am fortunate enough for the track to go that way ;))

Cheers,
Sana

I do see Anandi crossing Jagya in studies.. i dont say she will be a doctor but in today's epi what I noticed that, Jagya was a confused soul at the exam hall as if he forgot many a things and was unable to write anything and I doubt if he clears the exam.. If he doesnt he will be under scanner and then the dean of the college ..our doctor.. will appear and then khul jaa..sim..sim.. Jagya's truth is out.. and here Anandi will pass her 10th with flying colours..

@ ammoos: Honestly, we all know how smart Anandi's character is. Despite the fact that she's behind in studies, one must not overlook the fact that Jagya was never that of a smart character. Coming from a medical background myself and having attempt the medical exams, trust me when I say this that even the smartest of folks can find themselves struggling BIG time in these exams as they are no piece of cake to undertake. Anyhow, its a fictional show and it sounds like they will be showing Jagya proceeding just fine all throughout. But I wonder.. How sweet would have been the victory when Anandi would have passed all her exams with flying colors while we'd see Jagya struggling and not passing his finals because of everything he's been doing? It would have created another animosity level in b/w the two and we'd be able to see the real Jagya finally. But alas..I don't think my preferred way of things is going to occur though... Anandi is in for a rude awakening and I just hope and wish that she can get a move on in life all on her own...

Cheers,
Sana~

I know it would happen only in dreamland but still hoping their might show us..
The new promo shows Jagya saying ILU to Gauri n hugging her while Anandi still praying to god that she WILL continue her studies😕 She left her exams how is she going to complete her studies i wonder..
A part of Jagya's behaviour is understandable, but not fully.. he should have first confessed that he is married and then going ahead, it could happen but this love of his never trust worthy.. if he can leave Anandi, whhom he waited eagerly for 5 long yrs, for Gauri there is no guarantee for his love in future too..
I want him to tell the truth to Anandi and ask her to move ahead and then he still continue his cat n mouse with Gauri and finally when the time comes, his truth is out and GAuri tells him good bye and he comes to Anandi when she says sorry I have moved ahead.. 😍😍😍
Kaash ye ho pata
