Anandi talking to Sugna and telling her how they had suffered to work for money, how her father nearly had to cut his leg, how Mahavir came to help them by giving them money at the right time, how they worked as servants at his haveli. Sugna feels very bad. Jagya comes and says Anandi has no time for her beendh. He asks her to come to his room.
Anandi follows him and asks what he wants. He says nothing lets talk. Anandi asks him did he stick to his words not to talk to Sunder anymore. He says no, he broke his word and narrates what had happened. Anandi is sad and tells him that he don't know the value of money she had suffered for it and now she knew. He promises her that he wont do anything like that. Anandi doesn't agree and drag her to mandir and make him swear that he wont befriends any wrong guy, wont lie, wont smoke, wont do gambling and wont do anything in future that his family feels ashamed of him.
Massa is still worried about what Basanth did. He comes and apologises and says this time he thought Bhairon was right and that's why he supported him. He too was sad to go against his mom.
Sumitra and Bhairon have a private moment. Both say they had missed each other so much. Bhairon says it was like a punishment for him to be away from her and apologises for not being there with her at those difficult times and he had felt that there was some pain in her voice whenever he talked to her. She says she was missing him too as there was no one whom she could share her feelings. He asks her if she is happy now. She says yes. He asks how much, she expands her hands and says this much . He says only this much she wide opens her hands and they hug each other.
Next morning Anandi brings tea for dadisa and says she wanted to talk to her. Dadisa says she doesn't want to hear her. Anandi apologises for what he did, going against dadisa. And swears that she wont go anywhere in future without her permission. She begs for forgiveness and dadisa is silent.
