Hey friends!!I have been thinking Shyam is shown to be so selfless,so good natured...Its really difficult to digest it sometimes...Like when Sughna threw away the chunri he had bought...Shyam s like "maine kuch galat kara kya"...

In yesterday s episode he tells dadisa not to scold sughna...

What is this guy made of...???? 😍

He is shown to have studied in a city...so definately shyam doesn't hold the orthodox, old fashioned views everyone in the village holds....So he also doesn't mind marrying a woman who is a vidhwa...agreed on that point...

He doesn't want anything in return,of his love, from Sughna...not even friendship ...He just wants Sughna s Khushi....Duuhhh!!!Thats not lyk natural......

Well these are my views....What do u people think???

Is shyam really such a Devta kind person....or is he trying to take some revenge ..lyk some people have speculated in "Shyam negative character" forum

I too feel shyam is really behaving very strange now a days. When dadisa told him 2 leave d house, any man will do that but d way shyam behaved,he was indirectly saying,'don't tell me 2 leave d house'.I really found it very strange and also d way he is taking interest in d family's business,i too feel there ispurpose behind all these.
Shyam has really become a very mysterious character.

Shyam was just too amazing for words yesterday....I too wondered the same thing.....is this guy for real??😍😆

The epi before that with the drama concerning him leaving the house and his reactions to Dadisaa etc....those had me suspicious of him for a bit again....it looked like a bit of an act designed to let him stay in the house....I don't want him to be doing all this for revenge cuz I personally feel that would just ruin the character totally.....and Sugna would just be proved correct in that his love for her is 'fake' and I don't quite believe that.

But epis like the one yesterday have me believing in Shyam again......Yes he's taking an interest in the family business but he's transparent about it literally in every way....so I doubt he's got some 'grand' revenge plan in his head to bring down the entire family.

Secondly, if this was some revenge plan, I think he would not need to go in front of his family and stand up for Sugna and her family so much....

I know it is quite unbelievable to imagine that THIS self-less a guy can exist that way.....wanting only to make Sugna happy and nothing else.....when he told her yesterday that no matter how much she resents him and hates him, his love for her would never decrease.....I believed him....I see no reason why he would have to say that to her otherwise.

Shyam is clever, no doubt....as he's shown clearly in all the ways he manipulated various situations to try and meet Sugna in the early days and ultimately to marry her.....but somehow, at the core of it all....I find his love for her to be genuine and pure....he may have manipulated situations, but his intentions have been noble towards her overall.....and that is what has really intrigued me about this character.

For now, this is how it seems to me.....if it turns out ultimately that this was all some kind of 'revenge', then that would be too much of a K-show kind of twist and the end of SS in my opinion

^^ Well you've said it all!

But i think that Shyam is really sweet..I do'nt think he has a negative shade..! Maybe he just wants to prove to Suguna how much he loves her. But that's not something bad. 😉

If he turns out negative..it'll seriously ruin the character..!..I hope he stays like how he is..becuse such a nice n selfless person is the 1st on TV..i thnk..😛..n i want it to be true..!

@Aish_punk: Thanks! :-) I agree with you too.

@topic starter: Forgot to add this earlier.....but Shyam is definitely not a Devta.....he has his fair share of faults....he is stubborn and can be manipulative to get his way as well....he has his own shades of grey that way....but yes his selflessness and understanding when it comes to Sugna especially.....that is something that is truly rare.

He is no saint....he gets irritated with her sometimes at her as well as he did in the scene after she berates him after the chunri scene....these qualities humanize him and make him realistic.

Yes, his unbelievable understanding and selflessness towards Sugna feels surreal sometimes....but there is this simple, earnest sincerity in the way he expresses his feelings towards Sugna...he's not cloying, he never forces her....at the most he just tries to coax a smile out of her.....and that somehow just really touches me....such a simple thing....just a smile....and for that he's willing to do anything for her....where does love like this even exist anymore??

Now while I do get wary once in a while....maybe the makers like to generate intrigue in the show that way...LOL...but overall....given the way they've already shown two extensive song sequences on SS and the way Shyam is shown talking to Kanhaji about his feelings for Sugna and wanting Sugna to be happy......I don't really doubt his love for Sugna.....hard as it may be to believe....and sometimes it is for me too.....but he DOES love her that deeply.....*sigh* lol

Even in yesterday's episode Shyam they were talking of Shyam looking after a land deal and Maasa was warning him to be careful while dealing with land etc. But Bhairo said that he is very hoshiyaar.
So that means he is dealing in some land and business of Maasa family which is very suspicious. And why are they showing it specifically.
I hope he doesnt turn negative but I think revenge is the only cause he wants to stay in the haveli and also he is taking all of Suguna's crap.

But if Shyam's feelings for Sugna weren't genuine, why would they show him talking to God like this???

If they want to unveil him as some big 'revenge seeking' person in the future, scenes like this will be GLARING plot holes.....

Shyam may act mysterious sometimes but his love for Sugna is genuine......somehow I feel sure about that.

@ Topic starter Although some of your point does seem valid.... I doubt the show creators will make Shyam a negative Character.
Reason being they created this show for a social message saying dont marry your kids so younng, also Child Widow remarriage should be supported. So If they make Shyam negative they are going against their own message and justifying people who keep the Balvidhva's in dark.
About Shyam being so good and a saint type.... I think he has shown lot of his human side ....I feel his love for Sugna is genuine that makes him tolerate her tantrums....
@ Anu Well said lot of Valid points... I like it that even tough you like Shyam's character so much you don't go blindly defending him. you are objective in your reasoning... nice to read.

I doubt Shyam will turn negative. Shyam loves Suguna a lot and in love men do strangest of things. He is a great guy. Hope they make people like Shyam in this world. We are heading into a world were a sister does not care for her sister or is jealous of her and so forth, so seeing Shyam portrayed this way is a welcome change.

I want more goodness to be shown on TV rather than all the rubbish where everyone is jealous of everyone which is what is shown in most soaps these days. People are bound to feel jealous, but the goodness in the person should remove these feelings of jealousy and throw them away and goodness should be portrayed.......

This is all fiction and the more good they show the better it is for the people watching...... because at heart we all want to be good and do good.😃

Well said......I especially agree with the bolded para....It would be nice to see goodness of this sort on TV for a change especially when every show is either filled with self-sacrificing mahaan abla naari types or scheming vamps....Shyam is the kind of character who has a strong core of goodness within him even though he is by no means a saint or perfect in that way.....but his intentions are honorable and noble....and I would not want that to be taken away from his characterization.....such love may be impossibly rare....but I'm sure somewhere it must exist....so it is nice to see that being portrayed in a show.
