Scene continues from last night when Bhairav tells Maasa that he knows what she was trying to do. Maasa glares at Gehna and starts yelling at her that she has instigated Bhairav against his own mother. Basanth too joins in and they both start scolding Gehna. Bhairav yells at Maasa to stop and not change the topic. He tells his mother that what she is doing is not right. Unable to reply to Bhairav, Maasa turns to Anandi and starts yelling at her that it was all Anandi's fault. She tells Anandi to stop torturing her and to kill her once and for all so everyone in the house is happy. She walks off angrily. Bhairav tells Suguna to take Anandi inside. He then takes Jagya inside with him.
In Jagya's room, Bhairav asks Jagya about the fight. Jagya tells him about the teasing. Bhairav tells him that his friends were jealous of him since he did better than them. Not only him, but his bheendni did better than them too. Instead of being angry, Jagya should really be proud that both him and his bheendni were better than everyone else in the class. He talks nicely to Jagya to make him understand that he should not be angry. Jagya tells him how Anandi got all the praises and adulation for topping the class, which makes him sad and fears that this would happen every year. Bhairav makes him realise that since Jagya was the one who helped Anandi study, all the praise was really because of him, so he was the really big-hearted person. Jagya finally understands. Anandi comes there and Bhairav makes Jagya and Anandi call a truce and be friends again. Jagya also agrees to let Anandi study further..in fact, he would teach her again!!Daadisa watches all this angrily.
In the kitchen, Sumitra worries about what is going on with Jagya. Anandi comes there and happily tells them that Jagya was ok now and is friends with her again. He had also agreed to let Anandi study. Sumitra and Gehna are very happy. Anandi sets about to make halwa for Jagya.
At the table, Anandi serves Daadisa, who is very angry. Basanth comes there and tells about Maasa's sister being ill. Maasa says something about old-age and how there was no value for her anymore. Bhairav tries to talk to her, but she accuses him of turning her grandson against him. She leaves without eating.
