BV - Dec 26th 2008 - Written Update

Bhairav and Sumitra come to Maasa. Maasa happily tells them that she had decided to do Suguna's gauna. Bhairav is very mad at Maasa. He tells her that due to Jamuna bhabhi's death, he had decided to hold off on Suguna's gauna. Maasa says that Jamuna's case was not going to happen with everyone. Bhairav tells Maasa that she had no right to take such a decision on her own. Maasa is upset to hear this and tells Bhairav that he wasn't like Basanth. Bhairav is left feeling bad.

Suguna goes to a PCO and calls Pratap. She happily tells him daadisa's decision. Pratap is happy too. As they are talking, Pratap's parents come there. Pratap gets scared and hangs up. Suguna happily runs home telling everyone on the way that her gauna was happening. Pratap's parents scold him that talking to his bheendni before gauna was not good (if only they knew!) Pratap tells them about the gauna. Pratap's parents are not convinced. They tell him that unless they hear from Bhairav themselves, they would not believe in this news.
In their room, Bhairav and Sumitra are again talking about gauna. Sumitra tells Bhairav to just go along with everything as it was now too late. Suguna passes by and is happily singing. Sumitra tells Bhairav to accept for Suguna's sake atleast. Bhairav decides to go talk to the doctor to see if he can help them out.

Maasa has sent for the pandit. She asks him to look for the earliest muhurat for gauna. Panditji tells her that the next teej was really good day. Maasa sends Jagya to fetch Bhairav. She then calls Pratap's parents and tells Pratap's father about gauna. He is happy, but wonders if Bhairav was ok with this too. Maasa asks Bhairav to talk to his samdhi. Bhairav tells him that he agreed since it was Maasa's decision. Pratap's father is happy and tells him that they will start preparing for the gauna too. Bhairav tells Maasa that he had to visit one of his friend's wife in the hospital and will take Sumitra along. Maasa agrees. Suguna happily looks on as all details of her gauna are being decided

i hope the gauna goes through

in a way its good gauna is happening...but also not cos sugna could get pregnent quickly...however this storyline is a good way to raise the issue of mayb forced pregnancies and pregnacies of young girls.
