@Pankaj an absolutely fantabulous post !!!!!! 👏👏 Bravo
Sorry 4 replying this l8 but aftr reading such work by all u experts i have 2 try n gather my opinions and try 2 get it 2 atleast as near gud enuf standard..............hopefully
Ok so here's my take on DV his role n the addiction etc
He was a character which no doubt hooked us all...........the reason ?
i don't no if ne ov u remember but around in 2000 there was a soap called Kutumb now that was 1 soap as well that i was hooked 2 (but not 2 BP extent) and that was becoz the characters were opposing not opposite....... both lead characters h8ed each other 2 da guts, tried every possible way 2 insult each other but f8 had it that they were married n the opposition continued until slowly love did blossom n that was when i started 2 lose interest.............
but da point being it was d conflict between 2 strong headed characters which kept me going .............
As 4 BP both DV n Amoli were again very strong headed characters who never bowed down n always thought they were rite in their own way..............it is this opposition that kept me going 4 all these epi's
now cumin on 2 opposite...... the character of DV was such that was it was on a tangent frm the norm n if i may say so the opposite frm ne ov us.......... i don't think any 1 here could be DV n so his tortures 2 Amoli brought out d psychopath that does reside in us but does not cum out and attachment 2 his family brought out da saint which again resides in us n cums out however it was da doings n portrayal of the psychopath (the opposite 2 our own nature) that was wot became an addiction................
wot new scheme will he cum up with, how will he try n attain Amoli etc were such questions which we were all curious 2 find out ............and such curiousity 4 things that isn't normal is human nature
So with DV came a character on TV who had a big ego never hears no type, demanded authority n got it most ov da tym n then became a complete family man when required.............n then when he had 2 hear the inevitable no it teared him completely .................he tried his best in all his own methods 2 change that answer (ie. obsession) and in that he himself began 2 transform which led 2 the devil DV becoming da saint ....................
but in da process he had 2 endure so much ..........everytym he bowed down it was due 2 Amoli n everytym he had 2 destroy his thakurness like he said himself this is n will always be his story.....
As for Sk wot can i say...........Sharad became thakur Digvijay Singh in every way possible such that we cannot imagine ne 1 else instead of him...........it takes two to tango n DV would not have possible or real if if weren't for Sharad's superb acting, dialogue delivery n body language and vice versa .................Sharad knew exactly how much power in his performance was needed 2 make DV perfect soooooooooo Kudos 2 him n ovcourse the writers for such a brilliant n hatke character n dialogue writer for such fantastic lines
OK Ok this has becum an essay so sorry 4 writing so much but wot 2 do
