I often don't get te opportunity to watch the programmes ( being in and out of hospital) but I usually dread reading BP's updates.
I am a vry big fan of SK but not to the extent of supporting the character he plays. Colours, as a whole, has made us come face to face certain realities we may not face or encounter and in some ways fogotton. GOD forbid if any one of us have to face being forced to sleep with someone we don't love. DV has raped, murdered and ruined lives of many, how is this right? If it isn't why are you guys suppoting this character? There are millions of DV's in this world and by supporting one we support the rest.
Amoli is one of many who have been subjected to such abuse. We are all from reasonable and educated backgrounds/families, we don't know what poverty is or what it can do. I livedin Uganda for 6 months with only 80, and there was point where I drank dirty water to survive. Poverty does to us what we can not imagine. Radhey is a portrail of poverty, a bit like Piggy's character in William Golding's novel, Lords of the flies, where he shows him as representative of Christ. Each character portrays a character of reality. There are thousands if not milions of land lords who, for their own pleasure, will stoop to any level to get whatever they wish.
Personally, I don't believe DV will ever have Amoli, but if this progamme ever does show that, then I am sorry to say, every woman will be disgraced. EVERY HUMAN, man or woman, has the right to choose who they live with. NO MAN has the right to "RAPE" a woman of her dignity, body, soul ad above all freedom
DV has not only mentally raped Amoli, he is now trying to physically rape her. As a WOMAN, I am sorry seeing other women here agree to what he is doing is right. Just once think, if you were amoli and some DV came and tried this.
It's shameful that we are blind in seeing what is happening around us because we have not face this and if anyone has faced this and is spporting it, then you are supporting whatever happened to you too.
In a world where such incidents are so commen againt women, we should voice our concerns and try to fight against it.
i'm sorry if I have offended anyone. I will not come to BP's forum again after today.
p.s. I know how it feels when someone forces their so called "love" mentally and physically.
