Ekta's Bairi Piya in trouble This serial has just completed few days and it has landed up in trouble. One of the local NGO's has criticized this serial for showing false perception of the Vidarbha farmers and has asked the channel to close down the show.

poor ekta why is everyone after her? Just coz she shed her saas bahu soap image for something new it has to make a blast. I like this show and i am happy to see somehting different. Hope it gets sorted out

ye kya hua, the show just started and it's already in trouble?😕 I think Ekta should have done more research into the story, and not just getting some idea and making a show on that.

Haan haan you would say thanks for the news wouldn't you Gur.😆 Okay the show is similar to others but I think from what I have seen in the past week the show is already differentiating into a different story.

I have nothing against Ekta and I am relieved that she has left her rona dhona shows but this is ridiculous. No farmer with an ounce of izzat will put up his wife or daughter to serve the zamindar sexually. That's completely baseless. I wish she had done more research into this before giving it her own take like she did with Mahabharat.

Will the show shut down that is one question we should ask. There was protest against Colors show Ladoo. The Channel was asked to close it but it's still airing & is said to be one of top shows on Colors. There was protest against BV few months back but is the show shut down. The answer is No.

There are so many cases running in the court some are running from decades. I remember reading an article about rapist being proven guilty for after a decade by this time the victim had died

Jot, there are people who sell their own blood for their selfish means but just because one does it doesn't mean all will do the same.

nope it is true...there were few cases where these sort of things have happened... and my point is when this other serial agle janam mohe bitiya hi keejo was being shown thaere they were showing the same thing as well nobody had any problems with that serial..but here ekta hs become a soft target..😕

In Agle Janam Laali found some good ppl in the haveli but all are not that lucky to have someone who can understand the condition/pain person is going through or with whom one can share his/her heart out.

Those men who treat women like a trash often forget that it was a women who brought them in this world otherwise they would have never existed.
