[Episode 71] May 23rd, 2016

- I thought things might lighten up after the way last Friday's episode ended...Well, I was wrong. The batwara issue is really quite serious, and with every word that comes out of Sharmila's and Maggie's mouths, it only gets worse. I understand concerns about housing and money, but these two bahus and their never-ending whining are something else entirely. I swear Sharmila's eyes practically turned into dollar signs (or rupee signs, I guess, would be more appropriate) while Maggie was glaring daggers at the younger bahu. Materialistic to the core, these two. Do they not care at all about the emotional issues here?

I was quite appalled, that till the very end, even when Rajni had announced her decision - these two were still talking about their material stuff! The brothers were beaming at one another, Shaan was mentally doing somersaults, while the parents were just surprised...and then we have these two airheads fighting it out at the side.

As has already been mentioned before, the ladies of the house try to take turns to be the most annoying of the lot - and the bar just gets lower and lower every episode.

- Surili is not happy with the way things are going, either. She's watching her family on the verge of being split. This is not what she wanted. It's clear that her sons mean everything to her. Unfortunately, she ends up insulting her daughters-in-law while trying to convince Amrish that they should keep the family united for their sons' sakes. No one wants to hear that they're being "tolerated" by others in what is supposed to be a family...Surili's timing is terrible. She needs to get in touch with her empathetic, compassionate side, or at least mind what she says. She has already driven Maggie and Sharmila against each other, in a sense, with her partiality. Not the way to deal with relationships, Surili. And hey, as far as "tolerating" Rajni is concerned, that's all in Surili's head. That is all Surili's fault. Not Rajni's.

At this point, I can't even tell if Surili was in the wrong or the bahus. I supposed Surili wins out by a tiny tiny margin because at least she took her place next to Amrish and was somewhat happy about the way Rajni settled their differences.

- "Rajni...Family is very sad. Sad..." "...is very bad." "Yes." Shaan and Rajni are caught in the middle of all this drama, in spite of their good intentions. There's not much they can do except lean on each other, literally, and watch...Adorable little nuances here, with Shaan leaning his head against Rajni's, and Rajni reaching up to pat Shaan's cheek consolingly.

Aye, Shajni...every episode they just get more and more adorable😆😆
#OTPgoals anyone? #DriftCompatible as you put so elegantly before😛😛

- The Maggie vs Sharmila war continues. Amrish's amusement is tinged with an almost acerbic quality. Surili's silent irritation speaks volumes about her disapproval. Ghyaan, after his initial complaints, is quiet but annoyed. Dhyaan is completely, completely done with this nonsense.

- "Bauji, main yeh faisla nahi le sakta." Dhyaan speaks up, finally. And Shaan senses that there might be some hope still. Shaan is far more attuned to his little brother's nonverbal cues than Sharmila is - I am amazed at how Sharmila is so self-centered, to the point where she simply cannot see that Dhyaan is very clearly trying to tell her to shut up. "Bauji, main chahta hoon ki yeh faisla...meri jagah..." Dhyaan pauses, and Shaan raises an eyebrow at his brother. Sharmila's nagging ultimately forces Dhyaan to speak with more determination. "Yeh faisla meri jagah Rajni Bhabhi legi." "WHAT?!"

@Shaan: I liked how Shaan's emotions and attitude was given importance in this episode, because it painted a very different picture from the Shaan we had seen in the early times of the show! Even if he had nothing to do with the fight (other than supporting his brother), he is still very anxious to make sure that this family does not break and is extremely invested in what everyone has to say...

@Dhyaan: 👏👏 He truly is a genius. Dhyaan has always known that Rajni wants to keep this family together, and so he passes her the important responsibility of doing her magic. Some might say that he was merely running away from the problem, but I think it was a wise decision to make in the wake of the severity of the problem. And Sharmila's annoying presence by his side wasn't making anything better.

- Rajni ignores Shaan's protests and stands up to help her devar. Shaan needn't have been so worried. Rajni walks among the piles of objects and makes her way to where Amrish and Surili are. "Dhyaan. Maine tumhare liye iss ghar ki sabse keemti cheez chun li hai. Maine...inhe chuna hai." I love the look of absolute awe on Surili's face as she turns to look at Rajni. I love how Dhyaan's expression brightens immediately and he looks at his Rajni Bhabhi with utmost respect and a fond smile. I love Ghyaan's proud, emotional smile, too. But most of all, I love the almost dazed look on Shaan's face as Rajni's words sink in...In the BTS footage, Shaan's reaction was more prolonged...he seems to hear Rajni's words and then, as the impact resonates, his expression changes from comprehension to awe to pride to tenderness...To me, it almost looked like he was falling in love with her a little bit more, then and there, without even realizing it.

@bold: 😳😳😳 That is seriously, seriously too good to hear! I would like to think that every time Rajni does something of this sort, he is just as surprised, if not more, than us as to what this robot can do...And Rajni probably doesn't even realise the impression she leaves on him...I really can't tell who I love in this jodi more - because they're both just so adorable 😊😊

Could you link the video somewhere? I really should start watching BTS videos because it seems to include all the best parts edited out from this show!😃😃

- I have to give a shoutout to Pankit at this point because I really appreciate the subdued seriousness he has brought into his portrayal of Dhyaan. Dhyaan's brief moment of happiness and relief is spoiled by Sharmila...again. The instant Sharmila starts talking about how Rajni is "confused," Dhyaan's face darkens. He turns to look at his self-centered wife with a glare so intense that hell could have frozen over. But Sharmila still doesn't notice. Either that, or she is very good at ignoring him. Wow.

- "Bauji...Jo Rajni Bhabhi ne mere liye select kiya hai...mujhe wohi chahiye." Rajni nods at Dhyaan. "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! And YOU!" Rajni nods again. "And proud of me!" Aww, Dhyaan's affectionate glance at Shaan! Yeah, the Shaan-Rajni-Dhyaan trio is my favorite Kant trio by far! Love these guys!

😆😆😆 Ditto and ditto! These 3 are too adorable to watch, they're always like cheerleaders supporting one another from the side! I would like to think that Shaan cares a lot lot more for his little brother than he cares to show, and Dhyaan is quite respectful of his bhaiyya and fond of his bhabhi, while Rajni wants to take care of them both!

To the rest of the ladies - this is a healthy loving relationship! Learn from it!😡😡

- An unexpectedly interesting thing to consider...Shaan basically tells Amrish the truth about Rajni here. "Lab mein banaaya, humans ki help karne ke liye." Amrish thinks Shaan is being irreverent and scolds him. "Lab mein banaaya! Hmph!" So Shaan's confession has been shrugged off and disregarded. When those words will come back in the form of a more serious revelation, I wonder what will happen.

I was quite shocked that he actually blurted out the truth?? What! Shaan!! Was he so mesmerised by Rajni's actions that the truth just came out like that? You can't be so careless dude!

- Krazy Kants Reunited! This shot of the entire Kant parivaar plus Aishwarya was so heartwarming! I love the ensemble cast and all of their group photos - this felt like it could have been a perfect happy ending shot. But there's so much more story left to tell, and honestly, whenever this show does end, I hope they won't end with the cliched "family portrait" snapshot thing that virtually every show uses as its final shot. This show is hatke enough to do better, I'm sure!

- Aww, Amrish-Surili and their tiny adorable moments! Can they build up that affectionate, respectful bond again and keep expanding on that from here on out? I really enjoy watching them together! They can be super cute when they want to be! Also, speaking of cute...Shaan-Rajni's simultaneous nod is too cute! Mission accomplished! Or, in Rajni's words...Task complete!

- "Good...Nice...Thank you!" Ahaha, Surili is apparently not used to thanking people. Or maybe it's just Rajni. She does manage to get a 'thank you' out, though, so good job there. Rajni ruins this by weirding Surili out again, darn it! "Mujhme emotions nahi hai. Aur yeh decision emotional nahi, logical tha!" I'm glad that Surili finally decides to give up! So relieved that she essentially surrenders, because it's quite pointless to argue. Rajni always has something to say!

My sister quite rightly pointed out that perhaps one of the many reasons why Surili is annoyed with Rajni, is because she is such a sassy-mouth to her when nobody else is around! Rajni always says the right things to everyone, but when it comes to Surili...well let's say just she likes to give her a dose of her own medicine😆

- "Aaah, pillow!" LOL, Shaan rolling around on his bed while Rajni is unpacking all of their clothes from those suitcases! He's such a kid at times! But hey, I'd probably be really happy to get back to my cozy bed after sleeping on the floor and on couches! I mean, I'm probably a foot shorter than Karan is, so I'd sleep comfortably on a couch, but the Kants' couches didn't look like they were ideal for sleeping anyway.

🤣🤣 Shaan seriously...well, if a grown-man can do all this, then my mum definitely shouldn't have anything to say to me when I'm rolling around the bed in the morning!😆😆 Genius ya completely mad...it's hard to tell!

- "Shaan." "Haan." "Aap meri arrangement kyun bigaad rahe ho?" Shaan actually has a response to this? This guy is amazing, I tell you. He hugs his pillows to his chest and looks completely content. "Thank you, Pareshaan." "Nooo! Rajni! Thank YOU! Tumne toh aaj kamaal kar diya! Dil khush kar ditta! I mean, mujhe aisa lagta hai ki tum human relations humans se better samajhne lagi ho! Tum bilkul insaanon jaisi banti jaa rahi ho!" He's so elated that he throws a flying kiss at Rajni, awww!

- "Iska credit aapko jaata hai. You are my creator." Shaan, somewhat uncharacteristically, freezes and frowns. "Arrey, yaar! Life mein pehli baar main kisi aur ko credit de raha hoon, le lo, na! Itna humble hoke kya tumhe Nobel Prize milnewaala?" This, this right here is so important! In terms of Shaan's ego being taken down a few notches, the fact that HE says this, spontaneously, is momentous! Rajni states the simple fact that he is her creator, so logically, he should get credit for her existence and therefore her thoughts, as well. But Shaan has moved beyond that logic today. He recognizes HER sensibilities and HER abilities to think and take actions that have positive consequences...and he thanks her for it. The best part is that he has absolutely no ego issues, no hesitation, no hang-ups about giving Rajni the credit she deserves!

Yes and yes! This is such an important point in their relationship, because he finally acknowledges Rajni's role in making good decisions! I hope we get more such humbling moments in the future😃😃

- "OK Shaan. Continue." Shaan elaborates, telling Rajni that what she accomplished, by uniting the Kants, is a feat that even the most mahaan insaan would not have been able to do - and she's not even an insaan! Again, he expresses how proud he is. He also mentions what probably would've happened had he been married to an actual human woman and uses that to contrast what Rajni is like as a wife. He keeps making these comparisons every so often, I've noticed. They're always off-the-cuff, very natural thoughts that he voices out loud. I also love the guitar tune in this bit. All variations of this tune that have been used so far have been lovely.

- "I am so proud of you!" "But I am not proud of you." "Why?" "Shame, Shaan." Haha, his face as he asks, "Why?" made me chuckle. He's still smiling, but Rajni is utterly serious. She reprimands him and his smile doesn't fade. He's in a very good mood today!

I liked that she reprimanded him for saying such stuff about a girl...to be honest, he's not at all wrong given the condition of his own household. But she is right to point out that we should not say mean things about people who aren't even here. Good for you Rajni! And good for you Shaan, for appreciating her to the fullest! (after countless times of being exasperated at her)

- "Achha, yeh sab chhodo. Main yeh keh raha hoon ki tumne...aaj mera dil...khush kar ditta!" He's so happy, he gives her another flying kiss! I think Rajni's eyes follow his hand, as well, so that might have contributed to her request..."Har command maanenge?" "Koi bhi command!" Shaan doesn't back down. There's none of that "Well...not every command..." stuff here! He really trusts her, doesn't he?

- Rajni looks so happy about her logic regarding them sharing kisses. It's quite adorable how bright her expression is! She mentions "kissing," and Shaan's eyebrows rise and his lips pucker up just a bit, in shock, haha. There's no panic, no repulsion. Instead, he teases her in good humor. "Oh! Toh Madam ki sui wahan atki hui hai!" Playful Shaan is my favorite Shaan! Rajni blinks in response. Yes, it's been stuck there for a while! "No problem! Aaj main achhe mood mein hoon! Toh aaj aapka yeh command bhi accepted!"

- I find it quite sweet that Shaan gives Rajni the choice to step back if she wants to. He looks at her, possibly feeling the awkwardness of the situation a bit now. She looks back at him, pleasantly calm as always. "Main sach-much tumhe kiss karnewaala hoon." She just looks at him expectantly. "Are you ready?" "I am fully charged."

- If there's any lingering nervousness or hesitation in Shaan's mind, it seemingly fades away as he steps closer and closer to Rajni. I feel like his expression changes, maybe even softens slightly, as he continues to look at her. Rajni looks back at him steadily, but I love the little nuance of her gaze roaming over Shaan's face before she slowly closes her eyes.

- Just prior to this, Shaan himself mentioned that Rajni is becoming more and more human-like in her understanding of emotions and interactions as well as in her portrayal of those emotions. She may not be able to feel emotions, but she is catching onto the finer nuances of expression quite quickly. I'm so curious to see what effects this will have as she continues to be around Shaan. How will his perception of her change? And how will he deal with his emotional responses to her as their relationship continues to progress?

Astute observation...as to that, I think it's important to remember that if Rajni is as smart a robot as she is, her main role is to observe and understand and adapt to human-like behaviour...in many hollywood movies, like I Robot and Bicentennial Man, we often see robots that are just a bit different from the others, who begin to understand human emotions and emulate them as well.

And most importantly, emotions don't come from the heart - they come from the brain. Rajni does not have a functioning heart but she has a brain that can learn new things. Like children, who understand complex emotions and situations by interacting with people, Rajni could probably understand the same. She may not have inate feelings, but she could understand why people react the way they do in specific situations.

@Shaan: There's no doubt he will form a strong bond and attachment with her, but a loving bond is not necessarily romance. Maybe he will start to fall in love with her little antics, like the way she says "okay!" or maybe the way she walks or talks...things that are uniquely Rajni😳😳

[Episode 72] May 24th, 2016

- I forgot to mention this in my previous post, but I was so happy to hear the romantic version of Rajni's Theme again. It feels like it's been forever since that music was played in a scene! I can get over the omission of the forehead touching in this shot, I suppose...But that would have made this scene even more adorable! I wish they'd just recapped the scene and let it flow naturally into the remaining minutes of the shot. Ah, well. I love how this moment is drawn out, so that we can see Rajni's steady gaze and slow, even blinks, and Shaan's gaze shifting from Rajni's lips to her eyes and back down again...I adore how gently he touches his nose against hers, completely calm and content...He looks like he's going to close the distance between their faces...and then he changes tack at the last second, tilting his head upward to place a kiss on the tip of her nose. I love that he lingers there for a bit...and when he pulls back, he's smiling at her. So, so, SO precious!

- Rajni's happiness at finally being kissed is so sweet! She cheers like a child, and surprisingly, Shaan follows suit, imitating her and surpassing her in enthusiasm. Just want to add that Rajni mentions that this is their first kiss...I took this to imply that she expects more kisses in the future...Shaan looks like he's caught off guard by that statement at first, but Rajni's joy is infectious and Shaan ends up joining her as well. I'm kind of sad that they cut out the bit where Shaan stopped Rajni from revealing to Surili that they hadn't been talking, but kissing, just before Surili interrupted them. But oh well, time constraints.

- The conversation between Surili and Rajni actually made me smile. Hooray! I am hesitant to trust Surili after all she has said in the past because she changes colors like a chameleon...but this seems like a good start. Rajni's upfront nature throws Surili off, but I think, with time, the latter might come to be rather fond of that feature. Or at least I hope she will. I was also hoping that Surili was being genuine with her thanks to Rajni. Her expression softens at certain points and so does her tone...But still, I'm not quite sure where this is heading. I'll give her credit for saying that she'll try to overlook Rajni's oddities. And that second 'thank you' sounded more heartfelt to me. Little things that I liked in this scene: Surili asking Rajni to clean up the ghaas-phoos in the courtyard 😆 and her utter bewilderment when Rajni asks her what happens after a vanvaas is over. These kinds of things are what make Surili amusing and endearing, IMO, so I'd be grateful to see more of her lighter side. Also,Surili's "Hooray!" kind of reminded me of Shaan's "Yahoo!" I miss seeing Surili/Shaan's heart-to-heart conversations, too, now that I think of it.

- Dhyaan is amazing. He can cheer like a kid in a candy store, but then he turns right around and switches into serious adult mode. More amazing than Dhyaan is Amrish. "Muffin aur cupcake ki bakery ki dukaan" 😆 Best. Amrish is the best. Oh, and I just realized that Ghyaan is back to referencing films and using his catchphrase again, too. Proper Bengali equals happy me.

- Random thoughts as I watched the Kants discussing Shogata's wedding plans: Neha is a good actress, very easy on the eyes, and I like her dialogue delivery, too...If Shoguta's ego and snobbish attitude are curbed and she becomes a nicer, more considerate woman (courtesy Shaan and Rajni...and Dev?), then I might appreciate her more. Oh, and Shogu needs to stop talking in 3rd person. I can deal with the IM lingo, at least that makes me chuckle. But 3rd person POV? No, just no. Amrish-Surili are so cute when they're not warring. Good-natured bantering is always fine with me, but insults are not okay.

- Amrish/Ghyaan/Dhyaan are such jokers! In a good way, of course! The three of them creeping over to the door and poking their heads outside just cracked me up so much! 🤣

- Look at how HAPPY Rajni is! ADORABLE! "Shaan!" She beams and waves the phooljhadis around and around - and I think Shaan either tries not to get burnt or tries to take them away, haha. Also how cute is it that she's wearing a necklace to celebrate Diwali, too? 😆 "Meri maa, your literal translation will KILL me one day!" "Main aapki maa nahi, aapki creation hoon." Aaah, these signature lines! So good to hear them again!

- The bit where the Kant men are describing their wives by choosing the most apt firecrackers 😆 Pretty balanced descriptions of their good points and bad points, I must say! When Amrish started talking about how Surili is different from a sutli bomb, I died laughing! Dhyaan is totally Amrish's laadla! And LOL, Pankit's eyebrows are impressive! So are Karan's, for that matter, but the glasses hide them, haha.

- "Teri biwi kis patakhe ki jaisi hai?" Shaan glances at Rajni, who bats her eyelashes at him. I was so impressed, she does this so rapidly! "Bataata hoon." Rajni smiles and blows Shaan a kiss, which he returns in kind. These tiny gestures! *happy sigh* "Toh meri biwi...Rajni Kant...Chakri! You are chakri!" Perfect! Absolutely perfect, Shaan! Ahaha, I love how he jumps a foot in the air after lighting the thing! "Ab meri baari! Main bataati hoon Shaan kis patakhe jaise hai!" What a cutie she is! "Rocket! I am rocket!" Adorkable dork! 😆 "Shaan ek phuski rocket hai!" 🤣

- "Prabhu Dev!" Dev is back! And he's as grumpily cartoonish as ever, LOL! Man, I missed this guy so much! Neil's comic timing is super fab and it's great to see him after what feels like ages! Shaan-Rajni-Dev are my favorite non-Kant trio, but Matthew/Dev are in a league of their own when it comes to comedy! Those two never fail to make me laugh because their expressions are so damn hilarious! "Careful there, buddy!" Poor, poor Dev! Special mention for the Shaan/Dev and Rajni/Dev scenes at the end. I like the parallel between Shaan and Rajni, illustrated by the fact that they both ask Dev for a reason why Matthew and Shogata shouldn't get married...and the contrast in Shaan and Rajni's reactions to Dev's concerns is interesting, too. I have one question at this point, though. I understand that Dev cares about Shaan since they're best friends. But why does Dev care that Shogata's life could potentially be ruined by marrying Matthew? Dev is such a nice guy that he even cares for the well-being of his best friend's stuck-up sister. What a gem of a friend he is!

EDIT: IF's formatting glitches drive me crazy sometimes... 😳

[Episode 73] May 25th, 2016

- Such a good start to the episode, that Amrish-Surili scene! ❤️ I loved seeing Surili's more fond side come out of hiding today. It's been quite a while since they last showed one of these conversations. I prefer seeing Amrish and Surili in their bedroom, actually. Since the beginning of the show, I've felt like these two let all pretenses, all facades fall when it's just them, in the privacy of their room, talking. There's a different sort of tone to these nighttime scenes in their bedroom - they feel warmer, more genuine, more relatable. And of course, the nuances. The way Surili watches Amrish and there's a small smile playing on her lips, which she tries not to show; Amrish confidently telling Surili that she'll fall in love with him again tomorrow and her pinching his cheek and replying that she still loves him anyway; the way Surili leans forward to rest against the chair Amrish is sitting on as he talks about letting their daughter go to a new home...Some very, very lovely lines about the mixture of emotions that a daughter's wedding evokes in her parents. This is one of the best Amrish-Surili scenes in the show so far. They are really quite sweet...and I won't stop saying that I adore the way Rajendraji and Pallaviji play off of each other in their scenes! So wonderful!

- "Robot aap le jaayenge, toh...Rajni mere saath kahan rahegi, Sir...?" Well, Matthew might as well have dumped an ice-cold bucket of water on Shaan's head...Shaan sits there, nodding and giving Matthew these strained, sardonic "I have such a weirdo for a boss" smiles, otherwise interacting with his boss as expected...and then Matthew broaches the topic of humanoid technology and the future...and Shaan's expression is no longer as bright as it was before. I don't quite know how to describe it. He seems far more grim.

- As an aside, Matthew and his dream of living on an island! Now he wants to have Shaan-Rajni as his neighbors on an adjacent island! This guy is too funny. Oh, and the irony of Shaan saying that Rajni is most excited about the wedding...when she's actually trying to dissuade Amrish-Surili from letting the marriage take place...Should we thank Dev for this?

- I can see where Surili's coming from regarding Rajni ruining her stress-free life...I wouldn't like that, either. But a point to consider here. How on earth did having Maggie and Sharmila as daughters-in-law before Rajni came along constitute a "stress-free" life?!

- "A-la-ram" Aww, Amrish! "Alarm." By the way, is that what getting "dressed up" means for Shaan? He changed his shirt but decided that blue jeans were classy enough?

- "No punya! Just gray matter!" Ahaha, that is so true, though! But I'm even more curious about Shaan's previous relationship now, because Surili expresses surprise when Shaan says "pataa ke" - is that just a new choice of words he's suddenly using, or is he not the kind of guy who goes out of his way to impress a girl? "He taught me." Ah, I loved the way Shaan said this! He's so chill about this, haha.

- "Yakeen nahi ho raha ki aak iss ghar mein tera last day hai. I'll miss you." And then Shaan bursts out laughing. Oh, man! When he started laughing, I did, too! "Tujhe laga main aisa kuch bolnewaala hoon? No chance!" But honestly, I did think for a minute there that Shaan was expressing some degree of hidden affection for his sister. Neeever mind.

- "What? Mujhse zyaada peace-loving iss ghar mein aur koi bhi nahi hai!" LOL, everyone except Surili bursts into laughter. Shogu...Okay. That sounds fake, but...okay. As an aside, how lovely does Neha look in that lehenga choli, with that high up-do?! A++ for costume and styling! She looks gorgeous!

- So Shaan does have some kind words for Shogu after all! That was nice to hear, albeit quite unexpected! I also love how Shaan twists that into a more witty, humorous comment in the end. Shaan and Shogu are as similar as they are different, aren't they? Their sibling bond intrigues me more than any other, to be honest.

- As the situation stands right now, at the end of the episode, I wouldn't be surprised if someone watching the goings-on in the living room misinterpreted Dev's expressions entirely! Looking at his face, I thought, "You know, someone could think he genuinely doesn't want this marriage to happen for personal reasons, with the way he's so nervously hovering in the background!"

- That precap, though! "Shogata Amrish Kant...married to...Devender BANGDU?!?!?!" OH MY GOD! 🤣 🤣 🤣 From the little bit of the precap that I could see, the contrast in Shogata and Dev's expressions was hilarious! Shogu looks utterly shocked, probably also horrified...and Dev? He's just...not. (Rajni did something, didn't she? Look at her face! This is pretty much her face, right here ) Is it weird that I'm actually eager to see what happens if Shogata has to live with Dev for a while, if not permanently? If the story is going down this route, I feel like Dev could potentially wear down Shogu's sharp edges in his own way. Maybe they'd start out like Amrish-Surili, with the verbal sparring and all...If that gradually leads to them adjusting to each other's personalities, influencing each other in positive ways, and becoming more fond of each other, I'd be all up for watching it happen! In any case, I personally think Neel-Neha have a pretty fun chemistry even though they haven't interacted one-on-one in scenes very much. I really enjoyed Dev-Shogu's prickly banter in Epis44-45...maybe a bit too much, haha!

I liked the subtle emotions portrayed by amrish surili it was emotional indeed and beautiful and rajni and surili amrish scene hilarious ye lodki Hume free mein stress de rahi hai!

Rajni replying from outside door dev aur rajni was hilarious and surili making sure she's not outside still funny!

Shaan being worried about Mathew taking robot then how will stay with his rajni was sweet Shaan has become inherently attached with rajni it will be interesting how will he bear the separation as we see in upcoming promo rajni is thought to be dead and Shaan shouting

Lolz Shaan is true it's all gray matter haha
I really like how chilled Shaan is and his saying dad taught me Shaan surili scenes are lovely!

Loved how Shaan first time praised his sister saying she's looking beautiful in the dress!

I almost thought Shaan is emotional as his sister will leave the house after wedding and the googly at end haha karan was point on with sudden change of expression. I really liked brother sister bonding it was lovely the cute bantering n leg pulling

Highlight of the episode: I'm so glad the Kant parivaar is being shown a mirror by people other than their family.
Pehle Aishwarya ne hila diya, ab Mathew ne zor ka jhatka diya 🤣 He is so rude, how double sided could he be all this time

I love you surili but this was very much needed😆 At least a part of them need to ponder over the claims they make before the world and how they are in reality

Ridhima 👏
Rajni catching it quick that she is the gadbad of shaan's life just as shogu would be for Mathew 😆 Yeh taunt badha solid tha. 😉

Rajni was a mixture of these emoticons minus the wink 😉 Saare expressions aankhon se hi dedi. She kept hinting with her eyes that Devendra is Dev🤣 Until shaan caught it. Typical sister, bhai ko phasa diya😛 I love Surili's reactions 😲😆 Dev taking offence of being mocked for his surname. For something he didn't have control on. Poor guy 😆 Rajni was so right, if it were Tata or Ambani, no one would have objection (with the name) 😆

Mathew kept saying how this family is nuts 😆 And wahaan Rajni gives approving kinda expressions 😆 He was laughing at Amrish's english and decency but Surili's support was all I noticed 😳 I ship this couple 😆

And the cutest part is when he goes on and on about Surili's classy act and calls her Big fat lady. Shaan is😲 and Rajni copies it instantaneously, with the haww 😆 Shaan as usual has to calm her😃 Pati ke rang main rang chuki 😉

"Kuhu kaise paida hui" And there he crosses another limit😡 Calling Ghyaan momma's boy is one thing, and a downright insult is another

😆
Good thing. He earned that slap. For the first time, I was proud of Shogu. She initiated a reaction chain where everyone joined in to defend Kants as a family.
All this while Amrish was by shogu's side and as she breaks down, he calls Surili to handle her ❤️ Beautiful

Rajni's "Mujhe bhi ghussa hona chahiye. lekin yeh feature mujhmein hain hi nahin" 🤣 At such an unexpected time, again with the side glance to shaan. Am loving it. So naughtily evil kid waala look😈

Relationship status update, Dev aapke jeeja hain. oh my god😆

Rajni saying you had nazar on his sis, Dev did the same, it's fair. EPIC

Shaan is so angry he says Shut up or I will shut you down 😛🤣

Dev is Rajni's co prorammer and wants her to listen to him. Let's check it, shall we?

Dev wanted to break Shogu and Mathew's shaadi.
He wanted Rab(Rajni) ne bana di jodi waale to get him married.
Soorat doesn't matter, seerat acchi honi chahiye
Rajni can do whatever she wants as solution
Usse pari jaisi ladki chaahiye

🤣 I love how she is like I am proud of me, phasegi beta rukh 😆

Shaan is pareshaan again. How are they going to handle this now? Shogu is officially married to Dev😆 This will be fun

[Episode 74] May 26th, 2016

- Rajni pretty much personifies the phrase "shifty eyes" in this episode 😆 "Matlab main aapki zindagi ki gadbad hoon. I get it, Shaan." Sharp as a tack, this one!

- Surprise #1. "Humari list ke hisaab se toh aapka naam married list mein aata hai." Shogata is married? "What is he saying???"

- Surprise #2. "Shogata Amrish Kant...married to Devendra Bangdu?!?!?" ("Present!" says Dev. Rajni glances sideways at Dev. Shaan glances at Rajni...Rajni looks away from him) "Who the HELL is this Devendra Bangdu?!" Shaan is looking at Rajni intently...and she is looking at Dev. Dev tries to look inconspicuous - and obviously fails, because Shaan notices his nervous expression. Rajni's like, "Very good, Shaan. My work is done."

- Surprise #3. "Tu...Devendra hai?" "...Hoon, lekin main..." Poor, poor Dev! LOL, Shogata's shocked gasp and Rajni's nod of confirmation! "Tumhari shaadi Shogata se hui hai?!" Dev whimpers miserably, Shogu lets out another gasp. "And tumhara surname Bangdu hai?!" Haha, 3 Idiots vibes!

- Surprise #4. Which is not really a surprise...Rajni was the mastermind behind all of this. I wanted Rajni to keep quiet, but nope, she had to speak up...multiple times! I was mentally banging my head against a wall during the entire episode. "Congratulations, Devendra! Aapki ichcha poori hui!" Oh god, that could have totally been misconstrued in the worst ways possible! Rajniii!

- Oh, but I loved Rajni's line about Shogu's materialistic, snobby nature. Well, that was all implied..."That means agar Dev ka surname Tata ya Ambani hota, toh aapko koi problem nahi hoti! Am I right?" Yep. Hit the nail right on the head! I'm so proud of Rajni for that!

- Surprise #5. Shaan doesn't know Dev's last name? Can we have a backstory about their friendship? I would love to know more about how they met and became friends.

- Surprise #6. Matthew's surname is Hudson...and he has a nasty temper. Who would've guessed? "Your whole family is nuts! Tum sab paagal ho!" ...Can't exactly refute him on that, in some respects. Time for reality checks from a complete outsider this time. This was a great scene, honestly. I totally, TOTALLY disagree with Matthew about Amrish. (Loved the sympathetically supportive expression on Surili's face as well as her comforting gesture to Amrish! They are so precious.) Matthew made a good point about Surili's hoity-toity attitude and the utter ridiculousness of the crow, but that insult about her figure was WAY out of line. That was absolutely unacceptable. Ghyaan is like Surili's lap dog, true...But once again, Matthew's insult was a very low blow. Terrible! Dhyaan did make a mess of things with the money fiasco, and I hope he has learned from it!

- Surprise #7. Shogata...I'm so proud of you...?! 🤔 👏
Shogata tries several times to stop Matthew from insulting her family. The further his insults go, the angrier she gets. "Matthew...stop it." "How DARE you! Shogata ki family ke baare mein agar ek word bhi aur bola, na, toh ek aur thappad maar doongi!" I don't know if Shogata's anger is going to trigger an avalanche after this, but wow. I also don't think slapping Matthew was the right way to deal with things, but Shogu was furious and all of that rage came out in full force. She might have a sharp tongue, but I was glad to see her stand up to support her family, no matter how "crazy" they might be. Neha did a fabulous, fabulous job in this scene! The fire in her eyes, the tension in her body language, the dangerously strained tone of voice...Superb stuff! 👏

- Surprise #8. Maggie and Sharmila on the defensive. If these two spent more time trying to be productive members of the household (and society) instead of fighting among themselves, I'd probably like them more. Case in point, this scenario. They stand up for their husbands, I guess, if not their family. Do these two bahus consider the rest of the Kants to be their family? That's a genuine question of mine.

- "Yeh tha ji uska class! Usse zyaada classy toh yeh truck driver hai!" WORD. Amrish Kant is the definition of "simple living, high thinking" even though he has a mansion and a thriving business. He doesn't look down on others, he tries to support his family, and he doesn't step back when a tough decision has to be made. The way I see it, true classiness is not about making others look inferior. It's about being confident in oneself without hurting others.

- "Rajni...serious moment." Yeah. I was pretty much rolling my eyes at Rajni's spectacularly ill-timed comments, too. Poor thing doesn't know any better. She's adorable, but man, what a bad day to be an unassuming, well-meaning robot.

- Surprise #9. Dev wanted to find his perfect match using a marriage agency? I didn't see that one coming! Aww, poor Dev! And LOL at the irony of him wanting a "pari jaisi" wife. Well, she is very pretty...but she's more like a tigress. Striking, stunning...with a fierce temper.

- Surprise #10. Rajni is able to hack into computer systems, but she doesn't realize that Dev is talking on the phone, not to her? Oh, Rajni. Awesome tech skills, but this has put everyone into difficult positions. And thus, the story moves forward!
