@last para - That was my concern too. Look alike will mean ridz playing the ex and that will be wierd. I'm sure they will get a new actress. And call it love for my OTP or anything else, But I strongly feel Shaan WILL end up and live with this Rajni only - No look alike, no nothing else. Either this one turns human (I know it sounds unbelievable but if they can show a CGI crow as Surili's dad reincarnated they can show anything convincingly 😆) or she gets destroyed (which wont happen). The show is about Rajni the robot and this Rajni the Robot will always remain Rajni Kant aka Shaan's wife. And Shaan is not the one to fall in love easily, especially after that failed relation but if he does, that'll be some deep and true love 😳.

PS - Sorry for the essay on them, I cant help myself when it comes to shajni 😆

@OTP: That's the word!! I completely agree that Shajni is my OTP - and I don't want to see a look alikr coming in her place because we have been seeing them together since episode 1 so it's best if they end up together.

@Possibilities: I really love the idea of her somehow becoming a human...in the Robin Williams movie Bicentennial Man, the robot (played by Robin Williams) is first introduced as a housekeeper robot (likr what Shaan wants to do with Rajni). The robot, unlike others, begins to develop human emotions and feelings and falls in love with a human girl, who also loves him back. In the end, he has his mechanical parts replaced by human parts, eventually becoming a full human and dying with his wife by his side.
While it seems like a far fetched idea, if Hollywood has created such a plot, here's to hoping that our dear Shaan can recreate the same!😉

Ah, I am enjoying the turn this discussion has taken! Shaan-Rajni are my OTP as well (like that wasn't obvious enough) and I've been curious about how the writers plan to deal with the ending ever since Sam mentioned that they worked out a twist that's too early to reveal! He was also the one who refuted the notion of Rajni being a lookalike of Shaan's ex-girlfriend. Needless to say, I'm totally invested in Shaan-Rajni's fate as a couple, and that just keeps being amplified with each new episode!

I really think I need to watch Bicentennial Man soon! If that's the plot of the film, then no wonder why Karan recommended it to me! That sounds like exactly the sort of story I'd like to contemplate and analyze afterwards, and anything close to that ending would make the Shaan-Rajni shipper in me happy! Science fiction seems to bring out the philosophical side of me in addition to my scientific side...and I am honestly not a philosophy person!
