The mother daughter duo, Surili n Swagata are tooo good and also quite similar. As characters, their mannerisms are so similar. 😃 Their comic timing, they both are so into their characters that it actually shows onscreen. Really appreciable! 👏 👏

I was wondering where have I seen the actress who plays Swagata since the moment she entered the show and finally got it.. Have seen her in Tu Mera Hero where she played an Adarsh Bahu .. N there she was in saree and here in damaged denims.. and the way she adapted Swagata into her.. It's superb.

And needless to mention, I absolutely adore Surili. Guess, the actress' name is Priya Tandon.. never seen her before.. may be a debutante but she is just awesome. If it's her debut on television.. (IF) it's Bang on! Really! 👏 👏 Her expressions, her dialogue delivery.. just so balanced. No OTTness and I really love it!

Looking forward to more Surili Swagata n Rajni scenes. Sure, it's gonna be awesome! 😃

Isn't the daughters name shoguta?? Yes their body language is very similar 😆 the moment she entered the house the expressions and all resemble surili...and the actress playing surili is very natural and is doing a great job.She reminds me of the mother in sarabhai vs sarabhai.

The actress who plays Surili is Pallavi Pradhan, and she is absolutely fabulous! Even though I generally dislike saas-bahu dynamics where the saas is perpetually unhappy with her bahu, I have to admit that Pallaviji has such superb comic timing and voice modulation that I always end up laughing at Surili's woes! Her Bengali accent is so adorable! It's the best out of the entire bunch of Bengali characters.

When Neha Kaul entered the show, I was wondering how on earth to spell that character's name. "Swagata" is what I expected it to be, logically, as a Bengali. The way they pronounce it in the show is kind of a mishmash of vowels, so instead of it sounding like "Shagota", it turned out to be "Shoguta" and I'm confused about how to spell it, haha! The nickname of "Shogu" makes sense, though, and it's cute. I was so surprised to see Neha nailing the character's mannerisms from the get-go - she mirrors Pallaviji's demeanor and even takes the snooty sophistication a few notches higher, LOL!
