Dear Priyansh and Namita,
They say the best things in life happen when you least expect them to. Some of us here have been veteran TV watchers for a while and have seen an entire gamut of the good, bad, and the (plenty) ugly. As such, we've become a generally jaded audience that's mostly lost hope for any subtle, slice of life content on TV.
I had no expectations when I tuned into the first episode of this show on 18th July, but what I saw in the first episode, instantly reeled me in from day one, much to my pleasant surprise. After many days, I could see a truly sincere effort to bring forth subtle yet impactful content in a show and the team effort totally showed through in every department from the casting, to the set design, to the lighting, the camerawork, the direction, and the acting ofcourse.
Which brings me to the two of you specifically...
Priyansh, this is the first time I've seen your work and you've won over a fan in me for your immense dedication and sincerity, and your thoughtful approach towards your work. Abhishek could not have been an easy character for you to play given what a polar opposite he is to your otherwise lively personality...yet every single day, we saw you live this character...you became Abhishek to us and we looked forward to watching every facet to this character come alive through you.
Your will to learn, to push yourself, to dedicate yourself towards making the character as realistic, as compelling as possible truly shone through.
Never let go of that idealism and drive to do some great content. There is plenty of trashy content on TV right now that seems to garner the much desired TRPs...but for us, you will be remembered for the natural and relatable content you provided through this show. You made simplicity beautiful to view in a sea of garishness. Thank you for that.
Namita, you have truly been the surprise package of this show. You've shattered all pre-conceived notions of a typical "urban" girl character in Indian shows. As Meera, you brought this inexplicably sweet, innocent and endearing quality to all your scenes. Meera in the hands of a different actress may have become a "bubbly" caricature...but in your hands, she was this oddball pixie who utterly enchanted us...even exasperated us when she was being a tubelight...lol but kudos to you that above everything, you made Meera so utterly likeable. You have won me over as a fan for your guilelessly sweet personality, your lack of self-consciousness, your grace and dignity in the way you conduct yourself...don't ever lose this quality. You have no idea how rare it is. Your constant positivity and exhuberance in the face of everything has made us admire you all the more.
As an actress, your passion and dedication to your work shines though...We have seen you grow as an actress in this brief yet memorable journey and hope to continue seeing you do some great work in the future as well!
To the both of you, rarely have I seen two such sorted co-actors who've conducted themselves with such heart, such grace and such dignity. We've seen all kinds of shades to you in the many behind the scenes interviews...from your masti, to your friendship, to your sincere and detailed descriptions on all kinds of topics...haha...We've seen the way you've been each other's true support, worked so beautifully together as a team...Your irrepressible enthusiasm for everything will be dearly missed, as will THE VIBE...haha
Here's wishing both of you all the very best for your future endeavors :) Thanks again for all the wonderful memories you've provided us in the brief journey🤗
