Am i the only one who didn't find the epi blahh? But then, I wasn't too happy with thurs epi 😆 , while you all were...haha! Anyways, i felt that the fri epi was much better in terms of flow of emotions and continuity of scenes- they gave enough time to each plot point. Also, i have realized that my liking an epi is inversely proportional to Radhika's screenspace 😆 and directly proportional to how likeable i find meera- such a surprising revelation to me coz i'd felt i was more biased to them and their equation as such, rather than either of them per say...this is gonna give me viewing problems in the future though, i better keep my expectations in check 😆.
I'm thrilled Meera spoke up the whole truth abt whose mistake it really was- I have become resigned to the fact that both girls have selective amnesia when it comes to speaking up about the abuse, since they didn't even show it in sister convo on thurs epi, so not surprised it didn't come up today either. Meera explaining how she would have done worse had she been in Abhi's place and Abhi toh phir bhi did nothing felt good to my ears, coz I honestly hadn't seen this coming (genie, you make a good comparison abt kheer waali situation, glad they have that consistency in Meera).. But best bit was ofcourse Meera (finally!) showing some inclination towards thinking about her feelings instead of endlessly friendzoning him. Doobta hua jahaaz- apt, another one of her remote type funde. Riya ka attitude doesn't surprise me anymore (i guess nothing can go lower than ignoring her little sister's abuse), toh i could only laugh at her desperate attempts to make Meera believe that she and Aman have a connection: no doubt selfish girl is thinking abt own shaadi here, Meera ki toot gayi toh uski shaadi pe kya asar hoga? She knows perhaps that sanjay is too good for her. Sanjay on the other hand keeps winning my heart with every episode- feel bad for him that he has to marry Riya...can they break up please? Sanjay deserves better-the consistency in his character and objectivity is slowly becoming my second fav thing in the show after Abhi-Meera...seriously, who wrote him?
Aman toh has to paint a pathetic picture of Abhi-Meera na...his drunken abusive behaviour kinda settles what a pathetic person he be...nothing he does surprises ne anymore. But i think what pinched Raizada parents more than his sifarish waali baat, were his insinuations of how pixie Meera might end up jeopardizing the wedding...ofcouse this always being the Raizadas' biggest concern abt Meera (reason why Riya is so annoying), the point him home hard. For Raizada parents, their single minded intention is to get their daughter married so that uski life "sudhar jaaye"...on the surface looks like a decent decision but the execution here is disturbing...and can they please not show them as IAS? It pinches me every single time to see how helpless and meek they look despite holding such powerful positions..chalo, this is also a good reflection of the contradictions and hypocrisy of the society- if that is their intention.
Dadi...is interesting, i think more than being against abhi-meera shaadi per say, she is afraid Abhi will leave them all...ofcourse, considering their constant comparison with yuvraj...but more than that , she reached the conclusion only after hearing the Raizadas convo and Meera accepting to her parents that Abhi sirf ek accha dost hai, that pinched her...she had an idea abt Abhi's feelings from mona, but hearing that Meera definitely doesn't reciprocate them made her fear that Abhi might throw it all away for nothing. Blind prejudice, but from a mother pov i found it okay- just doesn't want to lose Abhi like she lost Yuvraj. But agreeing so quickly for shaadi of Abhi with Radhika, a girl she is SURE is unsuitable for Abhi- just how desperate is she to feed her past prejudices?
Abt things spreading fast in pant bhavan- i think, for all their flaws, pants are quite attuned to each other's feelings and emotions (though not intentions)... plus lipstick mark waale kisse ke baad, who wouldn't speculate? Madhu chachi is toh like a gossip queen.
Babli is finally on the path to recovery and it was the first step when she spoke up to daadi abt Meera's rishta, she would have been more assertive had Abhi not told her a while ago to forget it all, the fact that she spoke regardless felt good to me. Abhi-Babli scene: aww so he does call her babli, i thought mera imagination tha 😆 so cute! Haha.. Abhi-Babli scene was nice. Babli's optimism while He seems to be resigned to the fact now that there's nothing anybody can do abt the situation- broke my heart.
Precap: so apt for the situation i felt, his whole world has turned upside down, yet, his feelings for her haven't changed, probably won't...he will never find one like her no matter where he ends up going. We know the shaadi with Radhika will break and Abhi-Meera end up together, but just imagining for a second it won't and that Meera genuinely doesn't like him more than a friend, the situation is heart-wrenching. Namita in red lipstick didn't bother me much, haha..but choreography might 😆 let's see.
As of now, i think shaadi will happen impulsively- can see something as dramatic as Meera running away, but only if they continue with the pace of Meera's realization- i see papa Raizada disowning her completely, hence curbing daadi's fears abt ameerzaadi meera instigating abhi to leave his family.
