He doesn't need any words or dialogues to express himself as Abhi. His expressions are more than enough, which makes it clear what Abhi is going through. Brilliant job! Abhi's realisation looked a bit rushed, Hope they take the love story well from here, without any rushing.

I feel kinda sad when I read this...lol again wondering if I'm the only one who didn't find it rushed...especially given the way they executed it...I'm oh so tempted to make a seperate thread explaining why I liked the execution and why it deserves appreciation.

It seems like that scene has been widely panned on twitter etc. as well as this forum...three hours of "hug construction" ke baad bhi in logon ko itni gaaliyaan mili😆

I'm not singling out your comment btw...just making a general point about how so many ppl have dismissed the realization scene a bit unfairly in my opinion.

I too, feel sad about it...and doubly guilty about the fact that i actually linked PJ to the thread where the episode was being dissed so badly and he actually checked it out i guess...shouldn't have done that ...

Anyway, if you make that post anu, by all means I will contribute whole heartedly to it- coz the more i watch it the more i fall in love with that scene... So simplistic and beautiful it was... I guess, the reason people don't see a "built-up" is because to so-called conventional intensity is missing here, but then.. Abhi-meera story is based on an underlying cute friendship, there are no hormones floating around toh intensity ayegi bhi toh kahaan se? 😕 secondly, the rushed factor probably comes from the fact that unlike other shows the ML of this show knows exactly what makes him happy, is such a sorted and composed character, doesn't shy away from accepting his feelings even though he has troubles expressing them somehow. I guess the norm for abhi character prototype is that if you are reserved then you have to necessarily be reluctant to accept deep feelings such as love. PJ explained it so matter-of-factly in one IV- the reason Abhi loves meera is that she does so much for people selflessly and without thinking twice, he has seem her take care of and manage his crazy family, including ramraj, madhu chachi, amma and cousins.. Heck, she was also involved in Yogi uncle's return to the house and getting him aquatinted with the family issues..she helped with the extension and last but not the least, her persona which makes abhi insanely happy- we have seen him smile the most when he is in her company or when he sees her playing and enjoying with his cousins.. Simple banda hai woh-usko aur kuch nahi chahiye life mein..toh how can he not fall for her? But apparently it's okay to fall for her, bt not realise these feelings unlike every other late-current ML.

Anyway, this isn't meant to attack, just trying to understand the POV.

mads,you have written it all
The reason many people are finding abhishek's realization rushed is that we are used to such ML who never accepts their feelings and are always juggling for their feelings.they feel jealous when they see FL with othwr boys bt wl not accept that they are actually in love
bt abhi as i have said is a different character.he is reserved bt never runs away from his feelings.this trait we wl not find in any other ML.

LOL haan tum logon ne toh full on large scale publicity ki of how much you hated the realization...in some cases even without watching the scene😆

I think you're probably right about why people didn't like it...I feel like people are probably not getting that there is organic development in Abhi-Meera's relationship and the 'realization' was a part of that...it's just that our perceptions of organic development can vary...after watching all kinds of many shows for many years, we can all start to have a set expectation/image in our minds about how a story should unfold...I'm guilty of doing that too many times.

But ultimately execution decides how compelling you can make something...and in this case, they have a huge advantage in the form of PJ who is superb at compelling you into believing everything his character feels/emotes...he justifies whatever is there between the lines in the writing and that is why the scenes come out as they do.

In this case, toh I would credit the director, creatives and Namita as well...I felt this scene was quite good teamwork.

Anyways I'm deffo going to make that thread with the full on caps/gifs treatment to illustrate why I thought it was a lovely scene...just need some time😆

Will link you when I make it:)

one more e24 segment
https://youtu.be/LmOI1kxAqmA
this is the segment where abhishek brings meera to homestay
PJ was lifting ND and running and both were laughing 🤣
then there is a cute intv of PJ and ND where PJ and ND are saying "hum utha patak karte rehte hai"🤣
and there were many cute moments like ND hitting Pj's arm playfully

Haha, nice way to taunt 😆 yeah, i do feel extremely bad lol, that i sent it without watxhing.

Anyway, you are right... The reason is that the whole realization was a part of the organic development of abhi-meera relationship, there was no other way it would have gone. Abhi isn't the kind of guy who would do so much for another girl, without knowing why he is doing so. For him to care about her beyond the usual, is only because he knows how he feels about her. The whole of last week has been a testament to that. There wouldn't have been a growth in their friendship/relationship without abhi realizing his feelings, you can see that the moment he has acknowledged them, he has grown even closer to meera, now he tells her and behaves with her almost haq se- if you know what i mean. What a growth this is from the time when he wouldn't even trust her despite her telling the truth when it came to his family members, and now, he will disagree with them for her. For a guy like him, who loves his family to death, this change couldn't have occured without him knowing why. Also, bday party mein it has been establish ample times that Abhi has turned 25- for someone who grew up faster than his biological age, which in itself is also beyond the usually alloted age-bracket to act clueless about things, this was completely normal in my opinion 😆

LOL...I was one of those who felt the whole Love confession from Abhishek side Rushed...

and no it's not coz of I am used to same conventional type story , neither coz
I am used to typical ML who never accepts his feelings ...and its not abt keeping High Expectations also...

Abhi fell in love the day he saw Meera ...yes He was smitten the moment he saw her in Pooja Ghar with Thali ..
Meera's later interaction iwth Family members just added more Brownie points on how she can be perfect fit-in in his Family .
and then her philosophy on life which made Abhi kinda Happy person which gave him a new way of looking at things ..

So yes ...Abhi Falling in Love Process was well crafted ...

The only issue I see is the way It was wrapped up to conclusion in 1 Episode ...and also the Channel used "Extension" .
Juts other day the Gazebo scene , It looked more a Start of a Freindship Phase where these two started appreciating each-other's qualities ..
became the person for each other who would give them Pat and motivate them ... so suddenly when there was start of being Confidente...
This whole Love-zone looked Forced to me .
I wish they had given atleats 1 week of time , where they get to know more abt each other ...more where they become each other's Confidant ...

I am not taking anything away from teh Realization Scene... It was one of the Most Beautifully Portrayed Scene ...yet the New budding Love Simpllicity was
kept Intact ...and yes Major crredit to the Actors, Director and the Cameraman ...

Just a bit time should have been given ...

Well, no offense to people who loved the realization or found it perfect timing...
I simply stated my views. I can understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions, no offense meant to anyone personally!

Bold@ Its not like the realization is been completely dismissed, maybe a bit more scenes of him with her, and then pondering over her would've done the trick. Well it's just my opinion... 😊 However I'm loving the show and Abhi-Meera...
