He did say in one of his interviews that he likes to take a break after his shows.

EK must have dangled the golden carrot for him to come back when he was invited to the screening of one of their web shows.

N was a really good villian to some extent till it turned into repetitive boredom….

Shubhaavi is sooo good, I hated how they managed to make her boring. Why make black villains anyway; apart from being predictable and causing frustration, it's just not required. Make life, circumstances, feelings (greed, selfishness, giving in to baser instincts) the spice, not infantile scheming and 10 psychopaths playing Macbeth witches.

What surprises me most about the S3 announcement is how quickly it all happened..one moment everyone was up in arms against the leap, the leap comes and is almost gone now and the leads are back 😳 - all in 3 months!!

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised that DP agreed. There was some news a little while ago stating that DP and Shivangi Joshi were in contention for a BT show (and I hoped DP wouldn't say yes to a Balaji show), with a follow up saying DP had withdrawn from being considered. I wouldn't be surprised if this new balh was being planned then itself.

When this balh season?? news broke, my first thought (after being almost sure it was wishful thinking) was 'Lord, NM fangirls will be out for her blood again!'

How long are male and female actors' shelf lives as leads? (NOT a rhetorical question.) Obviously men will be able to carry on longer, because it's an ageist industry when it comes to women. Jennifer is still going strong, but how many women in their 30s get lead roles?

I think Nakuul will take a LOT of convincing, so I have doubts he'll come on board. I agree a 100% that NM got all the meat after the first leap, but he has said that he feels it's unfair to do back-to-back tv serials because of the tremendous identification of the actor with the role. And no matter what crap the cvs dish out, the process of acting must take a toll, especially for the ever-present leads. Given that this new version will apparently be a new (old) story, and that the ghost of Ram isn't quite dead, wouldn't he be going against his own principles to take it on? And, if he doesn't, will it even be viable?

Actually, we'd probably be better off watching the beginning episodes, rather than expecting anything worthwhile longterm.

I wouldn't have watched anyway, but Pooja was likeable, relatable, and far better in her role than that clip I saw of Niti (no offence to whoever likes her). Keeping aside the weird decision to make the narrative supposedly about the other daughter, it was 2 bland people who failed to generate any interest, in me, anyway.

I'm evil enough to enjoy Kekta getting egg on her face for thinking her usual trick of using ready fandoms would trump the ill will she earned by bumping off Ram and Priya.
