I just scrolled through bird and IG to get an idea on what went down yesterday, and it made me uncomfortable. Most of us dislike toxic behaviour. What balh2 has done is convinced half the population that Ram's bad behaviours are justified because he's been wronged. It's NO different than the toxic MLs most condemn and resent for being justified for whatever reason.
Ram has every right to hate on Priya. However, he does not have the right to hate on a child, even before he knew who her mother is. He is nowhere justified for being nasty and sadistic with his employees. He does not have justification to behave one way when he wants something from the hated ex (truck BTS, when he asked her not to leave) and behave like a pig 1.) When she refuses 2.) Once she's committed to providing that help (every BTS since). I wish she'd just turn on her heel and walk off.
How is his behaviour any different from any badly-behaved ML justified by his trauma (and hidden luwve🙄)? There is some objection from viewers on Pihu's behalf, because that is truly beyond the pale, but he is horrible to Priya with much less backlash (partly NM stans, of course. Any backlash solely for Priya), and much less acknowledgement that the way he treats her is sick. (That Priya doesn't particularly invite my sympathy because of her sheeplike demeanor is a different matter.) She's come back from her trip/whatever crap she was doing to HIS house, filled with people who hate her, which he well knows, they need her (apparently, though it's rubbish to me), and he owes her at least basic courtesy. Be cold, be fake, but have some manners. Or did Nandu scare those away too?
The focus is largely on: 'Oh when will he see/realise', or 'Oh, the handhold, the eyelock, etc.' 'How much he loves her and wants her back'. It's worse, somehow, when you use a much-liked/loved actor to further sell this very invalid rationale.
