What started as a casual dinner time show became an addiction soon. I never intended to watch an ITV show and nor do I in future. But I don`t know what pulled me into this. My sister and my mother started watching this during dinner and therefore we had to watch it. It started with me comparing BALH1 and BALH2 and basically saying the latter can`t pull it off.
But very soon I realized the chemistry of the leads is fantastic, beautiful, charismatic and serene (and whatever adjectives you can think of) and that is what pulled me into this show.
I realized that Disha and Nakul`s chemistry was something which was never seen on Indian television and I can very confidently say that this type of chemistry isn`t even found in Bollywood films now a days.
At least I haven`t seen such a mesmerizing chemistry even in Bollywood in a very very long time. The leads had the power to pull a non-romantic, hard core analytical guy like me who spends most of his day making forecasts, estimates, strategy and numbers into them. I never realized when these 20 minutes became an addiction and I made it a point to watch it every day. Even if my meeting ended 12 AM or 1 AM at night, I thought lets watch it for these 2 and it is worth it - Its just 20 minutes.
When Ram`s goofiness and Priya`s innocence and khadoospan met, it created magic on our TV screens every weeknight. When Nakul`s flamboyance and Disha`s serenity/calmness met, it created happiness on screens. TRPs might not have said it, Awards might not have recognized it but these 2 are surely the best actors in the tv industry. Period !
They both pulled it off superbly. Hats off to the them and Cheers !
8 PM will never be the same for me !! I will miss these two. I will now not wait for any sneak peaks, any segments. All that excitement is gone !!
So my request to anyone on this forum who has the power to reach out to CVs, please reach out to them and request them not ruin this show just for these 2 fantastic actors.
