HC verma... wow, u attempted JEEmains? We don't get HC verma now, but we do refer it sometimes...

Is Solomon good for org chem, for jee mains/ advance level?

Hi yes- it was only JEE in my time. And there were 2 separate exams - JEE for IITs and AIEEE for NITs. There was no mains or advanced. It was 13 years ago. Have completed my studies. Couldn’t make it to the main merit list of JEE. Was in Extended merit list and Was getting IISERs and Rajiv Gandhi Petroleum Institute. So decided to join a good college through AIEEE ( which is now JEE mains). Had a good AIR in AIEEE

I have been in job since last 8 years. 😀😀 And regarding HC Verma, solved both the volumes end to end. I couldn’t clear main merit of JEE because of my inorganic chemistry which and sadly that year the weightage of inorganic was too much. But due to Maths and Physics, I could still make it to extended merit list.
