I rewatched & just the sheer distance with which they were standing apart gives it away. I'm not sure how true that is. We're never shown any scenes where he's saying 'No' to her. We don't have enough Shikki scenes to know what their relationship is like.

Akki should've said something when Shivi said 'Ram bhai wahi karenge jo main unhe kahungi'. Perhaps he didn't want to do it in front of MM and Sandy but he should've said it once they were back in KM (even if he did, weren't shown)

Had they spoken with Nandini previously about it and she wanted their support so that she can still continue to be the good mom in Ram's eyes it would have made sense but the way it was shown did not work

I also found it forced & illogical. They may be upset that Ram didnt tell them about such a significant matter relating to their father (I agree with them on that, the way Ram usually talks about his dad is so personal that if a stranger heard him they wld think he is the only kid of the dad). But I dont see why they wld not be concerned about accident vs murder esp coz that incident made a huge impact on their lives. Shubhu is in mid 20s so he wld hv been about 10 when VK died, surely he wld remember his dad well & have been attached to him, boys of that age are usually. And VK is portrayed by Ram as a fond involved dad.

Now tell me how will I justify his actions today at the dining table? All of a sudden he needs to know about this? B.S.
