PriRa Drabble: Hold Your Peace

"Do you?" Priya asked him, with a smile on her face.

"Yes, I do," He smiled back. How could he say no to someone like Priya? She was the most beautiful, kindest, and toughest woman Ram had ever met!

"Great! Now that you promised to stop eating junk, I will help you. Your socks are in the bottom side, left drawer," She smirked at him, and he couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Aish!" He huffed at his stupidity. He should have just checked all the drawers instead of asking her.

"Well played, Priya Sood Kapoor," He offered a handshake to his opponent, and she looked at him indulgently and then walked away as if he wasn't even there. But instead of being pissed, he simply laughed.

She kept him on his toes, that woman! Priya challenged Ram and made him a better man. And he would take her as his life partner, for now, and forever.

Plus, I saw a video by the Take on YouTube about camaraderie amongst couples, so this was also triggered by that.

Also, I love "Priya Kapoor" but "Priya Sood Kapoor" soodes my soul, so I am going to stick to that in my fictions😝
