IT’s high time, after the Anjali fiasco and B’day party drama, she has to realize that Ram will never standup or support her when in need. Just being kind hearted and good is not enough. She became soft after seeing people being judge mental about her being khadoos and stone hearted. But. She needs to be her smart self s before to tackle all this crap.

even under influence, when ram was telling and feeling mere Bina inka kya hoga(he probably meant ki in nikkammon ka kya hoga)

she started to give off rants on leaving junk food having healthy habits😜

I don't think that's why she dialled it back. Yes she says people keep calling her khadoos but she also says that she will support what right no matter what.

I feel changes in her is because of her self inflicted trauma of not being able to fit into any relationship easily. As she always said that she was never able to make friends easily. Being relaxed and open doesn't come easy to her and I feel like she is trying to take her walls down so she can develop a better relationship with ram. But when her efforts are not reciprocated the way she has anticipated she gets in her zone of "this is how it has always been and will be" and starts to self doubt. I really relate to Priya a lot because I have always found social interactions difficult being an introvert, which people assume as rudeness and defensiveness. I do it because I feel like people around me won't understand my pov and I think priya does for the exact reason but lately she is forcing herself to be an more open person so she can understand ram better.

I would have said a day ago..they are both in love and realize it to a great extent…but in the promo when Priya says kahe pyar to nahin hogaya Ram is taken a back and when Priya hugs him…he still seems to have some reservations…and the flowers in his hands are likely the flowers Priya gives to him when she proposes on her knees…

so like Priya said in an interview a few ago…confessions are a while away…

since all of us think February 14th would be a great day for confessions I think EK will drag it to March or April…I did not watch BALH 1 but I was told confessions came after 160 episodes…but someone also told me in BALH 1 Priya and Ram went on their honeymoon around episode 100…that would be nice for our Ram and Priya…

As a third person it is easy to understand a situation but the main issue arises when the person have to conciously accept the changes themselves which is not easy for everyone. As you said they both held a important meaning for each other but to accept that openly when you have been saying there is nothing special between us from the beginning can be a challenge especially when you have been made to believe that you love someone from the last 20 years. These kind of beliefs are difficult to confront. Ram knows that Priya is important to him and he like spending time with her but how important is the question he needs to ask himself which he is not ready to ask right now. When brinda told him that Priya might have started to like him after seeing his marriage video he was uncomfortable because that is a equation he has not yet imagined having with Priya. For him priya is his wife who is another family member but to think he is in love with her or can fall in love with her is a very far away for him that he has not given a thought yet.

But priya has dealt with her relationship with neeraj. She has a clarity of her past and present that's why she is very easily able to understand her feeling for Ram. I think priya will fall in love first but ram will confess first.

Head over heart is the war that is going on with Ram and Priya.

Ram thinks he is love with Vedika and can never fall in love with anyone. Keep pretending that his family loves him and they ( Stepmom and her kids) cant live with out him. Then walks in our , so very independent Priya . Took the ground of his feet . Now his heart says Priya but head is still stuck with Vedika.

Priya is someone who is an emotional recluse . She has trust issues because father cheated her mom. Her boyfriend cheated on her. Her own sister cheated on her and married her boyfriend . Its difficult for her to believe some one and she has accepted that no one could ever love her. She believes only her mom can lover her unconditionally hence very possessive abt her. Her experiences in life taught her that if she uses her heart and when cheated it hurts, so she has locked her heart in a castle and thrown away the key. This is one reason why she is able to be righteous. And then walks in Ram, who is very emotional. He still believes in love. His pure and warm heart is slowly warming her up but she is yet to unlock that castle.

Both these people yearn for someone who they can call as their own. They know they need a life partner who will standby them. But their past , and the people around is pulling them away and hence finding it difficult to accept the new found feelings for each other.

My fear is Priya has started developing some feeling for Ram and she is slowly getting softer . This will hamper her married life. If she needs her Ram , then she needs to get back to her strong independent mode. Else she will loose him because Ram can be easily manipulated by his family and Vedika unless someone shows him the truth.

In short Ram and Priya are going through a war - a war between choices that is suggested by the head and heart. They are not sure if they need to listen to their heart or head and sadly they dont seem to be able to find a middle path .

As they say our worst battle is always between what we feel and what we know. 😉
