Part- 3

Throughout the travel in the auto Ram was immersed in his thoughts about the happenings in the temple while Priya was busy in her phone.when the auto came to halt Ram looked out and realised they had come to Priya's house rather than Kapoor's mansion

Ram: Priya hum yahan

Priya: yes Mr. Kapoor any problem

Ram: nahi nahi aisa kuch nahi

Priya: I want some of my books from here that's why

Ram: ok let's go in

By saying so he didn't wait for Priya he went straight inside the home only to witness darkness. he turned to switch on the light

That's when everyone shouted happy birthday Ram at the same time while bursting the party popper's which made ram startled a bit. But he was shocked would be an understatement.

He looked around to see the happy faces of Meera ma,Sara di,sandy,akki,shivi,mama, mami, adi,brinda,Kunal ,Vikrant. And the house was decorated beautifully by his loved ones.

He was pleasantly surprised while everyone began wishing by hugging ram one by one. At last brindha came near Ram and said

Brindha : yeh sab Priya ka plan tha.

Ram turned to see his wife who was now busy in kitchen.

Meera ma came with bowl full of halwa and fed him. Ram asked for her blessing by touching her feet.meera ma kissed his forehead and wished him a happy and healthy life ahead.

Then Meera ma asked everyone to sit and have snacks. Everyone started explaining ram about how they planned this while Priya was busy making favourite dishes of her husband. After sometime Ram excused himself in pretext of attending a call and went in search of his wife that's when he saw Priya alone in the kitchen he went near to thank her. Priya saw ram and asked

Priya: Mr. Kapoor apko kuch chahiye

Ram: haan wo

Before he could frame a sentence brindha came and took him away to handle adi who is teasing her.

Priya smiled seeing her husband surrounded by everyone and him getting pampered by them as always he was the one who pamper everyone.

Everyone one was called for lunch by Priya and Meera ma

Everyone started eating and praised Priya's cooking skills.while Ram was intaking every love he got from his loved ones.

For ram his friends are nothing less than his family. He smiled seeing his wife serving his friends while they were fighting with each other for her kaaju katli. Meera ma was busy refilling his plates before he can ask for anything.He felt blessed and contented to have everyone around him so happy. This is all because of one person who made it effortlessly easy. He saw his wife who was now getting fed by brindha. He smiled happily and started eating his food.

After completing their lunch everyone sat around chatting in the hall

Shivi: guys let's play some games

Everyone agreed to play cards

They all started playing while Priya got a call so she excused herself saying she will join the next game.

When Priya returned back everyone was playing well while Ram was in the verge of losing the game.seeing Ram is making the wrong move Priya came and sat beside him saying

Priya: Mr.Kapoor what are you doing? You will lose the game if you made that move.By saying so she changed the card and played for him.

Ram was busy admiring his wife who sat so close to him and playing with utmost sincerity to make him win. He didn't realise when the game got overed and he is the winner. It was brindha's and shivi's teasing that brought back to the real world.

He smiled sheepishly while Priya blushed lightly due to their teasing session.

Everyone took rest for sometime, then Meera asked all of them to get ready for the evening dinner party.

You write beautifully, it is so in line with the character sketches, it seems an integral part of the show. How I wish to see such small occasions of togetherness where the friends bond and Ram and Priya respect each other more and gradually fall in love. Waiting for the confessions, though I know it is too soon, slower and easier the better 😀
