Ram-Priya Drabble: Trashy Tastes
"Seriously, her?" Priya raised her eyebrow at her husband and referred to one of his exes who had just left. She was so giggly and annoying that Priya was developing a headache.
"Seriously, Neeraj? " He shot back, now regretting bringing Priya to the college reunion party. He hadn't told her about Vedika and, luckily for him, none of his ex-classmates spoke about her in front of Priya. But they did bring up the one date he had gone with Shraddha, who, now, Ram realized was so annoying and clingy that Ram wanted to run away to Mars, just to stay away from the planet that Shraddha lived on.
"I guess we both don't have good taste!"
"That's true because I chose you for myself," Ram snapped.
"And I chose you," She smirked, and Ram whined when he realized she had won the bickering.
"I think our tastes improved a teeny-tiny bit after all these years," He said, trying to lighten the situation.
"I doubt that," She said and stepped a bit closer to him as if to challenge him. He inhaled her perfume. He wasn't sure about her taste in men, but the woman had good taste in her perfumes, and he would prove to her that her taste in men too had improved since she had chosen him.
