No this isn't a low trp actually, it's how Sony shows fare normally. I've been watching Sony since 2014, it's trps are always this low only. 0.5-0.8 is considered a decent trp in this time slot, considering all other rival shows.

TRP is an ancient concept & needs updating. These days the younger audiences have shifted to app & therefore not represented in trp count. And the shows they prefer are so different fm the older audiences who may prefer the gopi bahu naagin format. So trp is only valid for those kind of shows & doesnt give correct picture of popularity of other shows like BALH.

Yaar in India only around 80,000 households have a trp meter installed in their tv sets. Can u imagine ..in a country of 1.3 billion people just these few tv sets decide the fate of the shows?? 🐷

It's no use if we watch on tv either, it's not going to get counted , unless there is someone among us who has that trp meter installed in their house.

I read somewhere a few weeks ago that the trp system will soon be discarded and we will get a new updated method to track the viewership of TV . It's about to come in 2022 as per the news. This is very much needed. Let's see
