Nandini's plans...?

Hi people! I am actually new to this forum, been doing silent reading since past few days... I hope I'll be more active here onwards😃

So I had this doubt

(Mind you, I watch balh on tv, so sometimes I miss out a few bits and pieces, so my info is a little incomplete)

I remember Ram saying it to his friends that this interview is important because Shubham's business is just starting and hence they need to defend the marriage, because reputation matters a lot.

Then why is Nandini trying to sabotage the interview? Wouldn't it work against her? Why is breaking Ram's marriage that important that she is ready to risk Shubham's business which is just starting?

Is it that she simply didn't anticipate this? Or she thinks Priya telling the truth to media and taking blame on herself is a better strategy (ek teer se do nishaan?)

Or is there any underlying reason? Like does she think that preventing Ram from getting too attached to Priya is more important because otherwise she might lose him forever and not be able to take advantage of him, Shubham's business can be established later also?

Hi, I totally agree with your ideology. But frankly Nandini either seems too oblivious about Rams serious intentions and efforts to establish Shubhu or she just can’t let lose her control from Ram after seeing Ram’s closeness and soft corner for Priya’s principles and her family. She obviously thinks if Ram is in her full control, like prior to his marriage, she obviously doesn’t have to bother about establishing her not-so good son coz she knows he’s good for nothing and Ram will take care of everything no matter what and won’t even question once. So obviously it’s a better proposition for her than actually thinking about settling her kids and enjoy a lavish life for herself.
