If anyone, Ram should run. Priya has never been kind to him. She keeps on belittling him all the time.

So true. People here whine for everything. Why watch if it's bothering you so much? I don't even see Priya suffering here.Ram has always been gentle with Priya. He has been making efforts to make her happy. How supportive he has been to her during Neeraj's drama on engagement? In one episode he cared for Vedika and people forget what all he did to make Priya smile. If we watch old episodes it's always Priya who has been very impulsive and rude to him.Ram already mentioned that he is in love with someone else. He even offered to make her meet Vedika. Why are people even expecting Ram to change overnight? He was unable to move on all these years. Just because heroine made an entry he can't magically forget Vedika. I think people love watching toxic male leads abusing the female, forcefully marrying her, and doubting her character. Ram is something different from all this and they are not able to digest it. For me, both Priya and Ram are imperfect characters with flaws which is what makes them perfect.

Oho. Much ado about nothing.

Hardly anyone here has been bashing Ram - what we are saying is the paneer allergy scene was poorly written and not consistent with Ram’s character, which we all agree is sweet & considerate. In keeping with his nature they shd hv showed him react. If anything we have been CV bashing, not ML bashing 😄😄

I don’t think it’s a poor CV writing, it seems more like poor interpretation by some set of audience. You being over critical here which isn’t reqd. Frankly I didn’t even think abt it while watching that scene until u guys made this discussion unnecessarily viral here. Poor Ram isn’t doing a Vedu jaap anymore and already being cautious of his wives presence. He’s being so cautious abt the fact that Priya still isnt aware that Vedu is his one true love. The fact that she herself told she isn’t interested in knowing who his love is still and Ram ensured how to care for his wife.

What I wrote is my POV and I think Ram also said he will be committed to the relationship but cannot love Priya. Where is commitment being shown here from Ram's side. I am not bashing the leads. just pointing out inconsistencies in writing.

The commitment is being honest to Priya about his feelings for his ex lovers. The commitment is standing up for Priya in front of his family for being accused of everything and anything even when she has never been a culprit or never at fault. Commitment is him being guilty of accusing Priya for making her sign the prenup and then burning them to make her realise he’s guilty and never supportive of this prenup to assure that trust is the premise of their relationship.

I don’t think there’s a better and more mature definition of commitment than this. Commitment doesn’t mean you can just simply shut your eyes and instantly forget your past and start loving a stranger just because you are sharing the same room.
