A lot of mothers are overtly sweet and kind, but what detaches her character is that she's overtly pedantic. It is okay for old people to talk in symbolism and life experiences, but it's almost as if the writing around her doesn't involve any mundane concerns. She's not showing fussing over Sandy's internship or Priya's work or finances or anything. If they balance the character with more mundane concerns, it would be a more relatable character.

I think the concern of the writers was more on Rayas wedding. Hoping they would now give more depths to side characters now.

Yes, I agree. However, they could have shown more fuss around the wedding prep than the prawn drama, which was juvenile. Again, Ram left to deal with the cops and collapsed on road. That should have been tied in well. Anyway, I hope they sharpen their writing because the story and the individual scenes are ❤️

Yes it feels quite superficial.. and somehow doesn't feel relatable.

Writing definitely needs to improve.. most of the side characters aren't written well.. nor are the tracks involving them. Let's hope it gets better..
