I feel like the writing team is also writing such abrupt scenes to make sure that the marriage happens early. In stead of rushing the scenes and compromising on continuity it would be better if they cut out some excess characters and plotlines. Coming to the editing, yesterday’s episode was just awful. I really feel EK should put in more effort into the show because they already have a couple that’s popular and the tag of the show. After seeing the medicine promo, I really want to enjoy this show but the shoddy editing and rushed writing is taking away from the experience.

@b - I agree I think they're super rushing the tracks to reach the Marriage phase. And they really need to cut down the crowd. There're way too many characters. Maybe introduce them later but not like this that even the Director is thinking how do I capture this entire melee of people in 1 shot

The initial character development is what helps audience connects to a show & yet they're going in such a fast pace without much depth to even the Protagonists.

I agree it's too annoying ..even today the flow of scenes was not clean

The backstory is good actors are decent some of the dialogues are good the ml is not toxic as of now and eats choc.instead of drinking..all great but this shoddy editing and too much caricature evil father is spoiling it( thoda they can show selfish mean )

I agree, even I noticed these bloopers, but decided to give them benefit of doubt for a couple of more episodes 😆

However, PH needs to realise that just a good story and good actors alone cannot do wonders to the show, technical aspects are equally important and they need to stop making such mistakes because audiences notice all of these

I was talking about the Technical Aspects only here. The Dubbing & Editing Team really need to address quite a few things here.

Storywise, as long as the characters are doing justice to the roles - I am liking the backstories each one character can provide here.

Yes you aren't the only one . We all are getting annoyed by these things esp because it can be quite easily solved by the makers. Cut down a few characters, and make the editing seamless. How difficult is that?

I tried to watch them but I liked only one K-drama - CLOY🤗 Rest all that were suggested to me, the common ones were pretty slow for me so I didn't really watch them🤡

Their can be 3 possibilities

Either there is a fault in writing and the direction and editing team can't keep up with them. Means they are writing scenes like that.. hence the editing team can't do too much here.

Either the pace of the writing is too fast because of that direction team having a problem to shoot and keep all the scenes in the single episode that script demands because of this scenes looks abrupt and incomplete.

As you said that in episode 9 priya came out of nowhere, well we can take that scene as jump cut but again for even using the jump cut you need some sort of buildup ( so I am taking this as more a directional mistake rather than an editing mistake simple si bat hai if you don't have scenes obviously editors can't do too much in this because unke pass option nai hai )

Last but not the least may be director and cinematographer doing there job perfectly it's just that editors having problem to maintain some sort of flow because of the time bounding or whatever the reason is.

I am just hoping they might improved but the chances are low.
