The show, which broke all Indian stereotypes bringing in a new subject was religiously followed by the youth which was visible in the TRP's of the show.
While he was seen with the likes of Mandira Bedi and Shabana Azmi in the last season, this one has brought in Sakshi Tanwar and Anupam Kher's son Sikander on board.
Anil, who was at the press conference of the show, revealed that he was skeptical about casting Sakshi Tanwar in the show initially, since he had seen her in saas-bahu shows.

He said, "This is for the second time in my career that I have said yes for a co-actor as an actor and a producer when the team wanted to cast someone, but I had heard of Sakshi and had watched her on TV, saw her pictures, so I also thought of her as a very simple and sober bahu. I was also quite nervous about my decision of saying yes to her. I thought if I had done something wrong, but she proved me wrong. Earlier it was Madhuri who proved me wrong with the film 'Bajrangi' and 'Hifazat' in which she played the role of a village belle and a modern day woman simultaneously."
"When I actually saw Sakshi's work, I was taken aback. She has done a wonderful job and with total conviction. I am very lucky to have worked with her as I have learnt a lot from her," Anil added.
Sakshi herself was surprised on receiving the offer. When the makers called her, she wasn't sure herself if they had called the right people.
The actress, who once played Parvati on Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, said, "In my long career until now I have never played such a character. It is so different from the one's I have done before that when I heard the script I said yes to it at one go. In the show I play the head of Anti Terrorist Unit's (ATU) head. My characters name is Shibani Malik. The head of ATU is Jai Singh Rathore, but in this season, since he is away for some reason so I take care of ATU in his absence. Along with that you will see me in the role of an emotional mother, who amid of all her important work at office has to take care of her autistic child. Where on one side Shibani is a tough and determined cop, the other side of hers is more caring, emotional and nurturing mother. I have never got such a range as I have got with this show."
"I am really thankful to the makers of the show that they considered me for the role because our industry work on stereotypes. When I was offered this role, for once I thought that have they called the right person? For me it is such a big thing that the makers could see me in that role, whereas I myself couldn't see myself in the shoes of Shibani Malik," she said.

The shooting which went on for days and is still ongoing has been tough on the actors. Anil Kapoor revealed that they are still shooting for the show. He said, "The show has taken almost 200 days for shooting, we have already shot for 120 - 130 days and 70 - 80 days shoot schedule is still left. I feel that this show will be more liked than the first season." "When we shot for the first season, we thought that it was very difficult and we had to face tough circumstances. We shot both during day and night, but this time we had planned to shoot less during night, because it becomes difficult shooting at night. We tried our best easing out shooting for this season, but now we feel that shooting for this one was even more difficult than the first one as there were too many locations and the sets we used were too huge. For instance the set of jail, we thought of creating the set in a big studio, but our budget wasn't allowing us to do that so we created it in the parking lot of a hotel. The oxygen level there was very less. 24 second season has been a tough journey, but as they say "No pain no gain", so I hope we gain from this one," said Anil sharing his shooting experiences. Anil Kapoor, who seemed quite elated, is sure that his fans would like this season even more than the first one
