The morning sunlight moved gently across the bed of a beautiful married couple as they slept in the beach house the warmth of the morning sun on Ram's face caused him to groan slightly as he rubbed his eyes but Ram had no reason to complain he was with his wife for a week's vacation and today happened to be his wedding anniversary
His eyes immediately turned to his wife Priya was fast asleep on her back dressed in her short silky nightgown her steady breathing captured Ram in a trance as he rolled onto his side to watch her sleep after watching her for a few more minutes he gently slid closer to her and began to trail feather light kisses to her chest and throat he could not get enough of the taste and scent of her skin he then pulled back to gaze at her face when he heard and felt her moan slightly
Who said you could stop? Priya said as she opened her eyes to gaze up at the one responsible for the tender assault of kisses to her skin Ram chuckled and captured her lips instead their kiss lasted until they needed to pull away to breathe
Now that's a way to say good morning Priya smiled as she gently traced her fingertips along his jawbone Happy anniversary darling but you still haven't told me how we were going to spend the day
The same to you sweetheart nd we're gonna stay in bed all day Ram answered with a cheeky grin Priya couldn't help but burst into laughter
You liar I know full well you have something up your sleeve Priya giggled as she playfully slapped his shoulder with her other hand
It seems some of my The Ram Kapoor's instincts have rubbed off on you I wanted the day to just be about us so I wanted to keep things intimate and simple said Ram gently as he kissed her hand that was caressing his face
What? nothing fancy and expensive Priya joked Ram shook his head gently as he curled his right arm around her
I thought fancy and expensive could take a backseat today besides we have the rest of the week for that Ram said as he curled his other arm around Priya and rolled over so she was resting on top of his chest
I know how much you appreciate the simpler things of our marriage and that's how I wanted the day to feel intimate and simple Ram said gently as he caressed her hair
Intimate and simple... I like it Priya said softly and smiled
I'm glad Ram answered as Priya moved to capture her husband's lips in a slow meaningful kiss
To Ram the feel of his wife's hair all around him as he kissed her was incredible he couldn't resist running his fingers through the silky strands when she pulled away and rested her head on his chest she smiled as she felt Ram's hands slide up and down the length of her back the couple happily enjoyed a cuddle under the sheet as they felt the morning sun shine across the bed until their peaceful moment was interrupted by the sound of Priya's phone
Wonder who that could be? Priya asked with a slight groan she reluctantly slid out of Ram's arms to her side of the bed and grabbed her phone from the bedside table to find a message had been sent her mood changed from mild annoyance to happy when she realised who the message had come from
Who's it from? Ram asked as he caught her change in mood
Neha look what she sent me Priya said with a smile she handed him her phone so he could see the message Ram broke into a smile of his own Neha's phone message simply consisted of one of their wedding photos with the words Happy Anniversary love Neha and Vikram
Let them know I said thank you Priya I'll meet you in the kitchen Ram said and kissed her then rolled out of bed and walked out of the bedroom to the kitchen to prepare a fruit platter for breakfast to share between them Priya couldn't help but gaze at her husband in approval as he walked out to the kitchen in just his t-shirt he grabbed off the floor with a grin she slightly shook her head to focus on sending a quick message to Neha and then jumped out of bed to join her husband in the kitchen
Wow that was fast Priya exclaimed as her eyes locked onto the fruit platter in Ram's hands as he placed it on the table
Did you want to eat here or back in bed? Ram asked as he pulled out a chair and sat down with a grin Priya couldn't help herself as she sat in Ram's lap
No here's fine Priya smiled and reached to grab a piece of fruit
Breakfast turned into a fun and very sticky affair when they fed each other various pieces of fruit neither could resist licking the juices from the fruit that dribbled down their arms their morning fun continued until the platter was empty
We're so going to need a shower Priya laughed as she stood up from Ram's lap and took the empty platter to the sink to wash Ram did not want the fun to end just yet and using his skills silently walked up to Priya as she stood at the sink and assaulted her skin with sticky fruit flavoured kisses once the kitchen was clean they decided to take separate showers and Ram went first
It didn't take Ram very long to clean up as he walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist as he dressed himself in jeans and a button down shirt he couldn't help but smile as he heard the shower running he was pleasantly surprised to learn about Priya during the year of their marriage that she had mastered the art getting ready quickly by the time he had finished buttoning his shirt Priya walked out of the bathroom dressed in jeans and a top and towel drying her hair Ram was transfixed as she grabbed her hairbrush and sat down on the bed with a smile he silently moved to sit behind her even though he couldn't see it Priya smiled when she felt Ram's hands on top of hers and allowed him to take over in drying her hair
Taking advantage of the sunny day Ram and Priya decided to take a trip into town for a bite to eat and even do a little shopping unbeknownst to each other they had already purchased a little gift to celebrate the occasion and were hidden in their bags back at the beach house they decided to stop at a local cafe for a coffee
How are you enjoying the day so far sweetheart? Ram asked as he sat down and Priya slid her chair sideways to be closer to her husband
I really love it Ram It's actually quite nice to spend our anniversary in a quiet setting like this I'm really glad you chose to do things this way it feels so much more special Priya answered as the waitress returned with their orders of coffee they sat in comfortable silence as Priya took her phone from her back pocket she wanted to look at Neha's phone message again nd quickly realised with a smile that Ram did too when she felt his arm go around her and leaned in closer
It seems even Neha thought of doing things simple with the phone message hey baby? Priya said and took a sip of her coffee
I find it interesting that she used that particular one but then again that's the one I personally like the most out of all of our wedding pictures Ram said and kissed her hair Priya couldn't help but smile at the memory of that photo as she laid her head on his shoulder

The wedding ceremony had finished and they were in the process of having wedding pictures taken by the photographer their wedding was in the summer nd the photo location was a park filled with gorgeous flowers in full bloom and a river with an old fashioned wooden bridge after the photos had been taken Ram and Priya decided to steal a brief moment for themselves as they walked along the bridge over the river Priya noticed how Ram was fiddling with his tie she knew her husband and his sweating problem he hated heat in that weather wearing tie but he had put up with his pet hate for the love of his life on the greatest day of their lives with a smile Priya decided to reward him and put him out of his misery
What are you doing Priya? Ram asked in shock as Priya placed her bouquet on the thick railing of the bridge and moved her hands to his offending tie she immediately silenced him with a slender finger to his lips
It's called a compromise Mr: Kapoor said simply
She undid the tie and shoved it in the pocket of his trousers she then undid the buttons of his white shirt to come in line with the top of his black formal vest next came the jacket as she took it off him and carefully placed it near her flowers nd then undid the cufflinks and rolled the sleeves over once
I know how much you hate to dress up in tie wear link in the heat but you put up with that discomfort for me on the greatest day of my life so consider this a reward you don't have to put those back on for the rest of the day if you don't want to Priya answered sincerely and moved back slightly to admire her handiwork nd besides I like this look a lot better you look like you're ready to go
Ram grinned and looked down at his clothes and then back at his wife
Give me my kiss and I will be nd thank you Priya Ram said and leaned down to kiss her in gratitude Priya smiled as her left hand reached for his left hand and laced their fingers together
We have been through a number of challenges both together and apart nd have been able to conquer them We are more than husband and wife Ram we are a team no matter what challenges we face from now on we will face them together Priya said with such conviction it felt like an extra vow to the ones they had already on taking the seven pheras together they had their own promises to make prmoise of being together in thck and thin a promise of trust a promise that the steps taken toghether now will remain same for the rest of their lives in front of the panditji and their guests she then moved to plant a soft kiss directly over his engagement ring following her lead he did the same to hers unbeknownst to the couple Neha had watched their little private moment from a distance and took a photo at first she felt like she had intruded on their moment but when she saw on her digital camera how well the photo turned out she decided to keep it and would have it enlarged to give them as a wedding gift the couple then gathered their things from the bridge and made their way together to the area set out for the reception

I was so glad you took that tie off Priya I was ready to toss it in the river Ram said with a chuckle It was clear to Priya that he remembered that moment too by looking at the photo
Well that's what I'm like you know I've never pushed you into doing something you don't like doing but you willingly put up with your hate just for me I wanted to reward you for that Priya said with a smile and moved to kiss him softly and then returned her phone to her pocket they continued to enjoy the comfortable silence as they drank their coffee in the hot sun they soon left the cafe hand in hand and walked down the path to look at some of the local shops just happy to be spending the day together
They later returned to the beach house just happy to walk along the beach and even chased after each other As much as running on dry sand was a workout in itself Ram was quicker and caught Priya around her middle with a laugh she playfully fell to the warm sand and Ram fell with her and made sure not to crush her with his weight Ram's lips immediately cought out hers and his tongue danced with hers in their mouths Priya sighed in bliss as she felt her husband's hands slide under her top to caress her bare skin Ram pulled away and admired the woman underneath him he had the enormous privilege of calling his wife
What? Priya playfully asked as she ran her hand through his hair
Nothing Just admiring what's mine Ram said with a smile as he moved to sit up and enjoy the view of the waves with a smile Priya sat up and then placed her arms around his shoulders

Co'z you changed my world with a blink of an eye that is something that I can not deny you put my soul from worst to best that is why I treasure you my dearest you just don't know what you have done for me you even pushed me to the best that I can be you really are an angel sent from above to take care of me and shower with love when I'm with you I will not cry even a single a tear nd your touch have chased away all of my fear
You have given me a life that I could live worthwhile It is even better everytime you smile It so magical those things you've made to bring back my faith that almost fade now my life is a dream come true It all began when I was loved by you I have found what I am looking for It's you and your love and nothing more
Co'z you have given me this feeling of contentment In my life something I've never felt I wish I could talk 'til the end of day but now I'm running out of things to say so I'll end by the line you already know I LOVE YOU more than what I could show
Thank you Priya said and kissed him softly Ram stood up and brushed the sand from his clothes then reached out his hand for Priya with a smile and a feeling of already seen she took his hand and with a gentle tug helped his wife to her feet he then brushed the sand from her clothes nd turned to walk back to the beach house to spend the rest of their special day indoors
Dinner had been a very pleasant affair the anniversary candlelight dinner was one they cooked together Ram grabbed a bottle of wine and the black forest cake from the fridge as Priya placed the dishes on the table
Here's to another year my darling wife Ram said as he raised his glass
Here's to another year my husband Priya said as she raised her glass and lightly tapped it to his but she didn't drink when they had finished eating he led her to the kitchen counter where the black forest cake was sitting nd offered her the knife to cut a slice with a smile Priya took the knife nd gently started to cut the cake when she prepared to make another slice into the cake she blushed when Ram's hand gently covered hers as they gently pushed the knife down
Remind you of something? Ram asked nd smiled when he saw her blush her blush increased as she raised her eyes to her husband and nodded he then grabbed a piece and fed her a piece of the cake Priya then took from his hand and fed him a piece in turn
This is what I meant when I said I wanted things to be simple today by the way I have something for you Wait here Ram said and kissed her with a smile he ducked into the bedroom to grab his gift he quickly returned and handed the gift to his lady nd loved her look of surprise when she opened it
It was a stunning silver locket when she opened it she noticed one of their wedding photos inside more specifically it was a photo of Priya by herself looking incredibly beautiful in her wedding lehenga on the other side were the engraved words Made in Heaven
Ram I love it thank you Priya said with tears welling in her eyes as she hugged him fiercely will you put it on me?
With a smile Ram took the ends of the chain as Priya turned around she quickly moved her hands to gather her hair away from her neck as her husband clasped on the locket nd couldn't resist placing a soft kiss to her skin
Stay here I have something for you too Priya answered and dashed out of the room while Ram placed the cake back into the fridge Priya quickly returned and handed Ram her gift nd in turn was happy to see his reaction
She had bought him a engraved watch Ram was utterly surprised that engraved on the watch was the exact picture that was on her Ram's white kurta when there after first night in morning along with the words Made in Heaven they looked at each other with a laugh when they realised their gifts had the same theme to them as Ram then took one out of the box the weight of the hunting knife felt great in his hands as he held it and even practised a few swinging moves with it
I take it you like it Priya said with a smile I wanted to give you something for you to use when you're on business trip nd as for why that is engraved on the watch I wanted it to feel like I'm there with you on your business trip
Ram felt incredibly overwhelmed at her explanation he placed the watch on the counter nd passionately kissed his wife
I absolutely love it Priya thank you these will definitely be take with me on my next business trip Ram answered sincerely he then placed the watch back into the box nd surprised his wife when he picked her up bridal style and carried her to the bedroom he laid his woman carefully on the bed and kissed her again
I love you Priya and both look into each other eyes
No moment has ever felt so good as when I first looked deep into your eyes for I found something wonderful there completely by suprise I found a love so true and deep I couldn't find a word to say nd now when I look into my future I know I'll always feel this way when I feel your arms around me I couldn't find a safer place for being held tight in your strong arms Is a feeling I could never replace I love you so much more each day nd I never know how to let you see for darling you are all I'll ever need you are the world to me I love you too Ram
I want this moment to feel like our honeymoon Ram said softly as he began to slowly undress Priya be mine my lady
I'm always yours my cutest golu Priya answered as she began to slowly remove Ram's clothing this was how they truly wanted to culminate the celebration of such a perfect day in each other's arms feeling the true strength of their love and it was a perfect ending that lasted tenderly through the night
