V-Day is special because we got married on 14th Feb - Gautami Kapoor

Ram was the incorrigible Casanova before Gautami happened in his life. And the rest as they say is now history. The much in love couple ironically got married on 14th February which only gives them a greater reason to celebrate love.

Shares Gautami, "14 Feb is significant for us not because it's V-day but because it's our marriage anniversary today. I think V day is just blown out of proportion. It's actually the day when singles feel miserable. We married on 14th because it was Ram's plan and we have happily completed 12 years of marriage now."

While Ram has showered his lady love with many gifts, the most special one happens to be a cute pug that Ram gifted Gautami. " I love my pug gifted by Ram so much so that I consider it as my first child."

Unfortunately, Ram is away in Goa shooting with ahem...ahem..Sunny Leone. But given the loving husband that he is, we are sure he would send his greetings and a gift perhaps to Gautami.

Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane: Reasons to watch the show

01. Ram Kapoor: The show will mark the return of Ram Kapoor on television. The chubby actor took a break from TV shows as he was shooting for Humshakals with Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Last seen in Sony TV's hit show Bade Acche Lagte Hain opposite Sakshi Tanwar, Ram had become a household name with the character he played. His fans are eager to watch him on TV again, and what could be better than a soap opera! name with the character he played. 02. Gurdeep Kohli: Telly actress Gurdeep Kohli has been seen in TV shows now and then. Her last stint was popular television show Diya Aur Baati Hum in which she played the main antagonist who was defeated by Sandhya Rathi. The actress was also seen in the film Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar in which she did a supporting role of a police officer. Gurdeep's fans still remember her as Dr Juhi of Sanjivni that aired on Star Plus. They will be delighted to see her in another soap opera after a long time.

03. Ram Kapoor and Gurdeep Kohli as a couple: It will be a nostalgia of sorts to see the two actors together on screen again. The couple was last seen together in Zee TV's popular family drama Kasamh Se, in which Ram Kapoor played Jai Udai Walia, whereas Gurdeep entered the show after a 16-year leap as Pronita/Bani. The couple was much appreciated and loved by the audience. We hope their camaraderie in the new show receives as good a response as it received during Kasamh Se.

Concept: The show boasts of a different concept wherein Anandita, essayed by Gurdeep Kohli, is suffering from a terminal illness and wants to embrace death to rid her loving husband and two kids of all the agony they are going through to bring her back to life. On the other hand, Ram is not ready to let go of his wife and is ready to go to any extent to save her. The show poses the quintessential question that how far can one go for love.

05. Mahesh Bhatt connection: While many Bollywood personalities are making a foray into television, this time it's filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. According to an IANS report, Bhatt, who has produced the show, says, "Ram Kapoor as himself was the perfect fit for the role that I had visualized; hence there was no requirement for him to lose weight. His acting skills are enough to move viewers to tears and make them feel the same pain as he is going through."
