Ne: By the way shaadi ke liye toh propose kar diya usne indirectly, lekin yeh bathao ki kissne first I Love you bola.
P: Smiled for her question.. she paused and said No one.
Ne: What?
P: Yes, No one.
Neha left staring at her with wide gape.
P: Common waise bhi mat dekho...
Ne: Nahin..I am you know, by the way with out even telling "I Love You" to each other you have fallen in deep love that too in such a short period? Its just difficult to accept.
P: Why??
Ne: Haan, I never saw or heard such story.
P: Then ours is first, may be not unique but first of its kind.
Ne: Common Priya, stop kidding. Neither of you told the other those three magical words and you have gone so far.
P: Pata nahin Neha, zindagi bhar saath dene ki aur saath rehne ki waada toh ek dusre se humne kar diya lekin "I love you" muh se kabhi nahi nikla. Aur upar se love ka shabd lips tak aakar apne aap hi ruk jaata hain. But I wont agree with you that saying those three magical words is the only way to believe that the love is divine.
You know what, I was myself confused about my feelings for Ram, as at this age I cant have infactuation and it was difficult for me to believe that I was indeed attracted to some one. You saw me struggling regarding that. Usse bhi bada surprise toh yeh hai ki Ram, I mean the way he is famous as an arrogant, angry and attitude wala RK, I least expected him to love me back. But he used to tease me or I can say flirt with me. Surprisingly I was ok with it.
But when he took me in his embrace when I was most vulnerable, I felt as if I was destined to reach those arms and live there. At that moment he spoke his heart out and I was in so much pain that the major thing that made me normal was his behaviour/love/talk towards me. When he confessed his fears I wanted to immediately nullify all his hurt but I just could say I will not expect anything from him but will be with him every moment. And when ever he is near by meri dhadkanein mehfus feel karte hain.
Isse badi waada kya hain Neha, ki ek insaan zindagi bhar mera saath nahin chodega. Do you think love would need to prove anything else?
Ne: Hmmm.. Still.. that wont come under a proper confession na.
P: Hum bacche toh nahin rahe na Neha ki I love you har minute bolte rahe. Shayad woh bhi ek din dil se nikal hi aayega, I dont have any haste to utter them soon. I am just enjoying his care, concern, overprotectiveness and.. love. No complaints till now.
Ne: Yeah, you two are unique so I wont expect you two to behave routinely or what we feel normally. But would love to know who would say first those three magical words.
P: Yeh first aur second ki baatein chodo aur just go to bed, you have to go to work tomorrow.
Ne: Haan, phir se woh naya doodh wala aagaya toh, my sleep will be disturbed.
P: How mean!! Dont call him doodhwala okk
Ne: Ole ole baby, someone is angry here. Ok then will call him fattyy..
P: (Glare)
Ne: Hello... I will call him fatty only forever. Keep that look with you. Goodnight now.
Saying that Neha turned to a side and lied on bed. She fell asleep with in minutes.
Priya was smiling for her naughtiness. "Am ok with it until unless you hurt each other"...
She was lost in Ram's thoughts and slowly drifted to sleep with a smile on her lips. She knew he was busy in his surgeries. She wished and prayed for his safety before she went into deep slumber.
And as usual he was busy with three cases since that evening. Even in that busy he didn't forget to send a goodnight message to Priya. But by that time Priya was already fast asleep.
They woke up in the morning when sun rays were passing through the window. Priya got up first and when she checked time it was 7.30 so she woke up Neha in haste.
Ne: Kya hua darling..
P: Kuch nahin hua, get up and get ready fast, its 7.30.
Ne: What... Oh my, I have to go by 9 today..saying that she almost ran to her room.
Priya freshened up and was preparing breakfast for two but Neha came running and pulled Priya to dining table and made her sit.
Ne: You need rest okk. Just gimme 10mins I will give you garmagaram chai and then you can have breakfast.
P: I am not sick...(the harsh truth hurt her again but she composed herself) to take rest 24 hrs. I am fit and fine to do chores. Unnecessarily Ram applied for one week leave, I could have gone today.
Ne: Haan, you could have gone and tired yourself like anything. Its good he took leave. You just sit here, I will make lunch too.
P: Neha please, don't worry yaar. I can manage, already its 8 so please you need to go.
Ne: Ok baby, lunch kuch light si banalena or else order something now I have to rush okk. Aur tum dont strain much.
P: Haan baba. I will not.
Ne: By the way tumhara hero ne refresh hone ke liye text books bheja hai na, unse apna bheja fry karlena.
P: Nehaaa..
Giggling Neha served breakfast for both of them and she gulped her part fast enough and rushed out biding bye to Priya with a peck.
Priya waved her bye and locked herself in and switched on the tv with breakfast table. She was not accustomed to idling away her day. She loves to work and here she was forced to take leave. She finished breakfast and came to room and opened the books. She sat with them when the time was passing slowly.
RK's residence.
RK and family were seated at the breakfast table when KK ji was serving breakfast. Dadi was happy that Nuts came after so many days so she was talking with Nuts non stop.
Ram was smiling listening to their convo. Nuts was excited to tell dadi that her friend cum senior was working along with bhai. Dadi who heard about Priya 'n' times was asking Nuts to invite her home as she wanted to see who Priya was.
Ram intervened.. wahi dadi.. woh doctorni jinse aap mile the hospital mein.
Dadi: Kya baat hai golu, woh ladki... woh toh badi hi changi aur soni kudi hai. Wohi Priya hai kya apni choti ki Nagpur wali saheli. Yeh choti tu usse jaroor bulalena.
Nu: Haan dadi. I will.
RK: But..
Nu: Kya hua bhai?
RK: I think she is on leave for a week. Yesterday she had a call but she didnt attend so when I asked about it the staff told she was on leave.
Nu: Leave?? Woh bhi Priya.. common bhai ho hi nahi saktha. She wont take leave aise hi. If she did go home she would have text me.
RK: I think they said because of some health reasons..
Nu: What?? Aur woh aap mujhe ab bata rahe ho.. common bhai I have to meet her. I will go now.
RK: Wait wait do you know where she lives?
Nu: No. But I will call her and go.
RK: Its ok, she lives along with Vikram's girl friend it seems. I will drop you there.
Nu: Thanks bhai. I didnt expect you to do this.
RK: Whats there in that. She indeed helped us a lot in some way. So lemme show my gratitude.
Nu: Ohh thats so sweet of you bhai.
Dadi: Donon bhi jaake milo usse. Nuts tu akeli mat jaana.
RK: Dadi mujhe bahut saara kaam hain.
Dadi: Golu...tu jaayega matlab jaayega. Ussi ke wajah se tujhe maine tumhari marji pe chod diya aur tu toh..
RK: Theek hain dadi.. aap keh rahe hain toh.. (his heart was dancing dil jumping japak jampak jampak)
Nu: Abhi chale.. she was excited to see Priya and worried too.
RK: Heaved a sigh. I will call you after my OP. Ok.
Nu: Theek hain bhai. She was clearly disappointed.
RK: Choti, I will call you by 11 ok. I cant miss OP you know that.
Nu: No no bhai, I was just eager. Thats it. We will go when you are free.
RK: Good, but I wont be late, dont worry.
Ram left to hospital and Nuts went out to get fruits for Priya. She came back after an hour and was waiting for Ram to call.
Ram called her at 12 noon and asked her to come to hospital as it was near from hospital. Nuts was waiting for his call and she jumped and bid bye to dadi and KK ji and asked driver to drop her at hospital.
Nuts reached hospital in 30mins and Ram was waiting for her call so he came down in minutes and took out the car from parking.
He told driver to go back and he called Vikram and asked for Neha's address. Vikram was bewildered with his question.
V: yeh kya hogaya hain tujhe?? dont you know..
Ram intervened.. choti wants to meet Priya and I have to take her. Samjha karo yaar, its dadi's order. I dont want to go but..
V: OHHH I SEEE...
RK: Utna reaction jaroorat nahi hain. Just tell me the address.
After talking for 5mins he disconnected the call and smiled seeing Nuts. Its 30mins drive. Lets go.
They reached with in half an hour and Ram was standing aside from the door.
Nu: Bhai aap door bell press karo. I want to see her reaction and I want to give her a surprise too.
Ram was worried now.. woh choti how can I?? What she will think? (Shit..I should have warned Priya but I forgot in work busy..what she will do if she sees me here now. Yeh choti bhi na..)
Nu: Kuch nahi hoga bhai.. please..please
Ram had to give in. He stood at the doorstep with fruit basket and pressed the doorbell praying almighty to help him.
Priya just then got up from books and wanted to relax. She heard doorbell and thought who it might be. She opened the main door and was gaped to see Ram standing with a fruit basket.
She immediately got a grin but she asked.. "aap aur itne saare fruits?? aap bhi na R..
Nu: Priyaaa... She jumped from Ram's back and stood on his side. She could clearly catch the grin on Priya's face which vanished as soon as she saw Nuts. She was in turn surprised and got suspicious with that change.
P: Nuts..tum..
Nu: Haan you didn't expect me, but it seems you are not happy with my surprise..
P: Nahi nahi.. aisa kuch nahin I was just shocked. I didnt expect you here.
Nu: So you have expected bhai!!
P: Didnt know what to say, its not..
Ram came as saviour, why would she expect me choti. She was surprised to see me.
Nu: Haan aapko dekh kar surprise aur mujhe dekh kar shock.. I think the reactions should reverse.
Priya (self) Kaha phasa diya Ram ne.. he could have messaged me atleast. Aisa kuch nahin.. andar aao na Nuts. You are a doctor not CID come in.
Nu: Whatever, you disappointed me.
P: She side hugged Nuts, smiling away to glory am sorry baba please maaf kardo..
Nuts was pleased with that million dollar smile. Ram was a silent spectator to all this but he was happy that they were not caught.
They walked into sitting room and Priya and Nuts sat side by side in a sofa and Ram sat in the arm chair. Both the girls were chit chatting and Priya was still tensed about Ram and her truth, she doesn't want to compromise her relation with Nuts for anything. She was struggling a lot in herself and it was clearly visible in her face.
Nu: Are you worried about anything? And you took leave that too for a week? What happened? I heard you aren't feeling well. Are you ok Priya? she was visibly concerned.
P: Had tears seeing her concern. She didnt know what to tell. She was keeping mum.
Ram didn't know what to do then.
Then came the toofan...
Ne: Hiii fattyyy.. I knew it..I so very well knew it.. You cant stay peacefully leaving your lady love alone. So you came to be with her. Thats so sweet of you. Kaash mera boyfriend bhi tumhare jitna caring hota.
Priya and especially Ram were rooted to their spots. They didnt dare to turn their heads and meet their gazes..especially they wanted to avoid Nuts at any cost.
Ne: Kya hua tum dononko.. why you two are frozen like that? Ahh I came finishing my work fast but fatty yaha pe hone ki baat jaanti toh main aap donon ko akele chod deti.. saying that she came in and stood beside Ram..what say Priya? Then she saw that someone was sitting along with Priya.
Ne: Aap? I am sorry but I never saw you anytime so am asking.
Nu: Main... aap donon mein se koi batayega ya main hi batau???
Ram hit his head and Priya said Ufff...
