Part - 16

They made their way to gym. Ram kept looking at her now and then. "Is anything wrong?" She asked. He nodded a no. He looked round the deck. "Ram are you ok?" She asked again. "Errr Priya do you..." he dragged "tell me Ram whats it?" He stopped and asked him. "Well can I put my arm around you" he asked slowly. She smiled "why are you asking permission ?" She asked blushing a bit. "You shouldnt feel uncomfortable na" he said. "I will feel secure" she replied. He smiled broadly "ok then" saying he put his arm around her shoulder and proudly pulled her a little close. As they walked nearly half the heads turned to see the two of them together. Some whispering somethings to the person nearby. "You know I feel like I the worlds luckiest man" he said. "Ram all are seeing us" she said lowering her head. "Dont do that" he warned. "What?" She asked looking up. "Blush..! The way your cheeks go red. Ufff.. please Priya" he said. She nodded. "Well I dont mind people starring, I feel good having you in my arms" he said. "Same here" she said and looked at him. He looked at her and winked. They reached the gym.

The gym was totally empty except for them. She walked to her treadmill as usual. Ram looked around, seeing there was no one, he whispered prayer of thanks for leaving them isolated in the gym. He gained his senses and looked at the stunning beauty running in the treadmill. He stood for sometime looking at her and moved to his machine. He sat on the stationary cycle without doing anything. "Ram arent you working out?" She asked. "Well I dont feel like doing anything" he said. She stopped hers and came up to him. "Are you feeling ok?" She asked. "Mmm sought of ok" he said "Ram if you feel sick then tell me baby" she said. He caught her wrist "what did you tell me now?" He asked. She bit her lips. "I wanna hear" he said. "Well I said you baby" she said slowly. He smiled broadly "sounds great to hear it" he winked. "Ok leave that are you ok?" She asked. "Well how can I be ok when a person, who seemed to have jumped from heaven is running in the treadmill" he said. She punched his hand lightly and turned to leave. He caught her hand and pulled her a little close. "Ram what you doing?" She asked. He smiled "I love you" he said. She smiled, he saw a hair disturbing her face. He raised his hand and gently tucked it in. Her eyes were closed and he saw her lips shivering. He wanted to kiss them. "Shall we continue" he asked slowly moving more close. "Continue what?" She asked looking at him. "Workouts of course" he said smiling. She closed her eyes realizing what she just asked. "What did you think?" He asked grining broadly. "Shut up wil you, now do the workout" she said and went. He stood looking at her for a minute and continued his work.

They made their way to have breakfast. "Attention everyone" came Captains voice. "Today evening we will be landing in a small island. You can take time till tomo evening. Its a small island so you wouldnt need two days here. So have fun. Stay safe all. Thank you" the announcement stopped. "Wow thats cool" Ram turned to see Priya who was buried inside a small book. "Whats that?"he asked. "Well we have just a day time, so we have to make sure that we visit everything, thats why I am checking" she said. "Please Priya shall we do this after breakfast" he asked. She smiled at him and pulled his cheeks lightly. "Foodie, ok lets go" she said. He scratched his temple and followed her. They had breakfast fast and went to her room. Priya was making a small list of what they should do in the island, while Ram was playing games throwing glances at her now and then. "Priya" he called. "Hmm wats it Ram?" Came the reply. "How come you are so beautiful?" he asked. She looked at him. "Ram just because you love me it doesnt mean you have to keep staring at me 24 hrs and speaking things like this" she said. "That was mean" he said making a sad face. She pulled her chair near him. "Did I hurt you?" She asked. He nodded no and smiled. "I am surprised, coz I always thought that woman liked it when men say these things" he said.."well" she lowered her gaze "I do like it but" she waited. "Well nothing, I mean I am not used to these" she said. He laughed loudly "oh you mean I go to all the girls and tell things like this daily" he asked. "I didnt mean like that, I meant I feel different, when you tell things like this, I experience a sudden raise in my heartbeat, all these are new" she said. He took her hands in his "hey, that because you love me so much, and arent you liking this new way?" He asked. "I am loving it so much, that I am scared, I will be so addicted to it that I cant live without it" she said as a small film of tear formed over her eyes. He cupped her face and rubbed her eyes lightly "I am not going to go anywhere, so getting addicted to me isnt going to turn bad right? You will always be mine" He said
She nodded and pressed her head to his chest. He wrapped his hands around her. He knew she was thinking something. He had to sort out something. "I am doing Priya, I know what worries you, I have taken some steps, uoi have to just wait" he thought. She pulled herself back and saw him smiling. "What make you laugh?" She asked. "Well I am.just wondering, if my speech and proximity affects you so much, then how must my touch affect you" he said. She blushed deeply "now shut up Ram, thats enough" saying she left to the changing room.

The evening Ram stood on the deck in a white tshirt and blue jean, his hand in his pockets. He was talking to someone in his bluetooth. Priya joined him, she too was in a blue jean and white shirt. He smiled as she came and put his hand around her shoulder. The whole deck was gathered to move out of the ship. They made their way out along with Kevin who was wearing a big camera around his shoulder. The island was a small one with palm fronds surrounding it. The weather was chill. Priya pulled a shawl over her. Ram helped her out of the ship. "Isnt it beautiful?" She asked. "Not more than you?" He said. She hit him lightly "shut up" saying she moved forward. He followed her like a school boy looking here and there. She pulled his hand "Ram please walk fast" and dragged him along, Kevin followed them. "Ram theres a fun fair today here, we will go there at night and spend sometime now walking around ok?" She asked. "As the court orders" he said and she smiled. They made their way to the interior. Priya explained everything to Ram on the way. Ram like a curious kid listened to her sincerely. They went to the fun fair. Priya was posing pictures for Kevin in front of each stall. She pulled Ram to him who reluctantly joined in clicking pictures. "Ram comeon all these are remembrance, dont be a bore, pose properly will you" she ordered. After taking nealry 100 pictures and walking around the whole fun fair, exhausted they made their way to a restaurant. They ate lightly as per Priya's order. "What plans tomorrow Priya" he asked. "Well nothing much Ram, theres a famous church here and we are seeing it then some shopping" she said. "Thats fine" he replied. They finsihed their dinner and walked past a campfire. Many people were sitting around it, some dancing.

Priya sat on a little behind from all the people around campfire. Ram was talking something to Kevin. Kevin left and Ram sat beside Priya with a popcorn near her.someone was playing a mild unknown language music. many couples were dancing in front of the campfire. Ram looked at Priya whose eyes were closed, her feet was tapping silently to the song. He didnt like the music much but seeing her enjoying the song made him tap his feet to. She pulled her shawl close to her snuggling into it. He looked around and saw a couple sharing a kiss. He turned to see Priya who was still having her eyes closed. "Should I do this?" He thought. He shook his head. "Ram comeon dont be a metro train, just go slowly" he said to himself. As he was lost in his chain of thoughts he felt a soft hand encircled around his hand. The touch of her cold skin on his warm one made him shiver a bit. He turned to see her smiling at him. He smiled back "enjoyed?" He asked. She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder. Her fingers entwined with his. "Tired?" He asked. "A bit" she replied. He rested his head on her head. She moved a little closer to him. They silently played with their fingers for sometime. He took it and placed a small kiss on her hand "I love you so much Priya" he said. "As I love you" she replied and kissed his hand. He smiled. "Shall we go to the ship?" He asked. "Ship?" She asked. "Ya last time you wanted to stay alone in ship right?" He asked. "Well Ram I think its better we stay in a hotel, separate rooms" she said. He laughed "some trust please" he said. "Ram nothing like that" she said. "we are going to the ship thats it" he said and got up. She looked at him and saw him extending his hand for her. "Your impossible" saying she took his hand. "I just want to see the surprise on your face when you go there" he thought.

Part - 17

They made their way to the ship. Ram was walking a little behind Priya, who was talking to someone in her phone. He was lost in his chain of thoughts. She belonged to him, but everything was not sorted yet. He didn't have any idea what would happen after the three month were over. "What if she goes back to CERN?" the very thought made his heart ache. He couldn't imagine a minute without her. He looked at her "Flawless, one the best creations of God" he thought. She sat on one of the stone benches still talking in her phone. She gestured him to give her fifteen minutes, he smiled at the way how innocently she asked for permission. "I just need to retain this smile in her face forever" he thought. He sat on the opposite bench. The moonlight lit her face making her look dazzling. Never in his life had he thought he would go so crazy on a woman. All he wanted now was her and only her.

As he kept looking at her, his mobile rang. It was his mom, "Hi ma" he answered. "Hey son, what's up there? Did I disturb?" she asked. "Not exactly, you called at the right time ma, Priya is in call with her friend" he said. "Oh ok, how's the island, I need to talk to Priya, to send me some pictures" she said "Oh fine I will tell her ma" he replied. "Ram is all ok, you don't sound so good, is all ok between you and Priya?" she asked. "Ha ma all is fine, just that I am scared when I think what is going to happen about three months" he said. "Ram just listen to me, whatever is destined to happen has happened, is happening and will happen, you don't need to worry about that and waste your present time with her. These two months more, just do all things to make her happy, the rest we can see it son" she advised. "ma I know that everything has a solution, I am doing something's side by side but I know she is worried deep inside about this, the thing that hurts me is why isn't she sharing it with me?" he asked. "Son give her some time, that's what she needs. It took so many days for her to realize that you are more important for her than her career, so she need time just give her" she said. "Hmm..! reasonable, I am ready to give her anything ma, and I am ready to do anything for her but I can't see her giving up her career just for me" he said. "Ram we discussed this earlier right? I am sure what we planned will happen" she said. "I am hoping so ma, if it happens then everything will be ok" he said. "Yes just believe that all will go by our plans Ram, so now what plans for night?" she asked. "well I am planning a surprise for her" he said enthusiastically. "Can I know the surprise?" she asked. "No" he said loudly. "Ram come-on if you say me I can help me make it nicer dear" she suggested. He thought for sometime "OK listen ma, I have arranged for a drink in a place, top of the ship. And then" he stopped "Yes tell it Ram" she urged. "Ma then I decided to sing a song for her" he said. "Ram seriously was this the surprise you planned" she asked. "Ha it's cool na?" "Ram I am really wondering how you called this a surprise" she said. "Ma you know na I don't easily sing for anyone even for you" he said. "HA son, I know that but she doesn't know it Na" she asked. "Ma I know whatever I do she will love it" he said slowly. "Ahem..! Ok then, but please don't call this a surprise" she said. "Whatever" he whispered. "Ram I have a perfect plan" she said and told her plan. "Ma but this I can't do it today" he said "Well not a problem, do it tomorrow or next day but I am sure she will love this" his mom added. "Yeah it sounds good" he said. "Ram I gave you the plan, but you have to decide how your, going to call her for it" she said. "Ma I already decided how to" he smiled. "Well so what are you going to get for momma, as I gave you the idea" she asked. "Just see when I see you I am going to shower you with kiss for all the things you have taught me this time" he said. She laughed "Well then don't waste all the kisses over her" she said. "Ma just stop that will you" he blushed. He saw Priya getting up and walking towards him "Ma she is coming will talk to you later" he said "Just a minute, tell her about pics and sing well ok, not like your dad" she said. He smiled and cut the call.

"Hey sorry Ram it took time" she apologized. "that's ok Priya, well I had a nice chat with ma " he said. She smiled "I like your mom a lot she is so cool" she said. He laughed "HA yes, very cool, and very experienced" he laughed. "Experienced in what?" she asked. "Well from the day I saw you, I can say she was the sole reason in making me realize that I loved you" he said. She saw him blushing a bit. "Same here with dad, he helped me when I had a battle over my feelings" she said. He sensed a sudden change in her voice. He took her hand and held it firmly telling silently that he will be with her ever after. She smiled at him "Well ma told to tell you, that you have to send her some pics of the island" he said. "Yeah sure I will send her tonight" she replied. They reached the ship. He helped her in. "Ram I shall change and come" she said. He nodded and she made her way to the room.

Priya entered her room and took a small shower. She felt completely loved in his presence. He was so gentle, so loving that he made her fall in love with him more and more. "When my ear is against his heart, the melodious beat of his heart pounds in my ears, I feel like I finally belong home" she thought as she let the warm water flow through her body. She changed into a short black skirt and red top. She adjusted her hair and let it fall on both sides of her shoulder. Her phone beeped. She smiled at the ringtone; she set a peculiar tone for him. She half ran to her phone and picked it up.

"Hey sweetheart, can you come up to that place where we went some days back, on the top of the ship. Waiting for you."

She smiled reading the message. He always made her feel special and the main thing was he made her feel comfortable. She took a shawl and went out. She made her way to the small place in the top of the ship.

Ram in a light blue shirt and cream coloured shorts stood at the end of the stairs waiting for her. When he saw her figure coming, his eyes glowed and his lips broke into a wide grin. He extended his hand and she took it. "Hmmm..! skirt" he murmured. She blushed. His eyes fixed on her "Looking...!" he waited. She raised one brow asking "what?" He shook his head "Nothing, looking gorgeous as always" he said and led her in. She looked at the place. She couldn't believe that this was the place they came the other day. It was filled with small lamps of different colours, the whole place seemed colourful. The place was so small, but there was a small couch for two in the end, with a table in front. The table was decorated with small lights and had two glasses and some juice. She looked at him "you did all this?" she asked. "What? Me I didn't do anything" he said. "Then?" she asked. "Well Kevin did it, but my idea, stupid na, not a big surprise" he said scratching his temple. She held his hand tightly "you remember that when I said about how I want my partner to be, I mentioned that he should give little surprises for me" she asked. he nodded. "I love it Ram, thank you" she said as tears filled her eyes. "Ahahha now no crying, really Priya with the water I save from your tears I can solve water crisis in many places" he teased. She punched him lightly "shut up will you" she said. He smiled and pulled her towards the couch. He sat beside her and poured the juice in two glasses "Arabian Grape, really good" he said and gave her. She took it. She admired the way he was pouring for himself. She wanted to caress his perfect face, which lightened up whenever she came in front of him. Suddenly she realized that he was looking up at her "Admiring me uh?" he asked. She blushed "sorry Priya, I would have ordered dinner, but since we dined I thought juice would be better" he said. She moved closer to him and he put his one arm around her, resting it in the couch "This is fine, I can't have anything more than this" she said. She shivered as a strong wind blew. Her hair was covering his face. She tucked them in properly. She saw him sitting there stone faced. She turned the other way to see the sea. "Priya" he called. "Hmm..!" she turned to him. "Strawberry right?" he asked. "What?" she asked stunned. "Your hair spray flavour" he said. She bit her lips and nodded. "It's intoxicating" saying he got up and rested his back on the railing. She moved to get up, he gestured her to sit. He moved a little farther and took a guitar placed there. She made actions with her hand asking "what he was doing". He told her to stay silent. He sat on the railing with his guitar, his one leg on the floor and other leg on the railing. He looked at her and smiled, he started playing the guitar, and it seemed a familiar music until he sang

She looked at him as he sang. "How can someone love me so much" she thought. "He is doing so much for me, I can do anything for him, only he matters to me" thinking she walked up to him and placed her hand over his. She rested her head in his shoulder.

As he was ending the song, he felt her smile in his shoulder. He turned to her "Enjoyed?" he asked. "A lot, I didn't know you sing so well Ram" she said. "Well I sing only when I feel like, and today what I sang maybe a copied version, but I meant each word" he winked. "I know that" she said. "Well I have one more, if you're not bored I shall continue" he said. "I would love to hear you sing, I can stand my whole life watching you singing for me" she said slowly. "Look who's talking these things scientist Sharma" he teased. "Later Mrs.Kapoor" he added. She looked at him "Nice na Mrs.Priya Ram Kapoor" he asked. She nodded "Or do you want it as Mr. Ram Sharma" he asked. She punched him "Raaam...!" "Just kidding yaar" he apologized. "Ok now next one ok" he said. She moved closer as her grip around his hand tightened. He closed his eyes and played a soft, very strange music. The music seemed to fill her ears. She closed her eyes and rested on his shoulder once again. The music seemed to drive her mad, there were no lyrics, he didn't sing a word but the music expressed so many things. He stopped playing. She had her eyes closed still enjoying the music in her heart. "It's my composition" he said slowly. "Mesmerizing" she replied her eyes still closed. "You inspired it angel" he said. She opened her eyes to see his eyes twinkling with love. She wanted to kiss them. She tried to move a little forward, she stumbled and his strong arms held her pulling her to him, she hit his chest "easy..! Are you ok?? did I emotionally attack you" he asked. She smiled "Your making me mad" she said. "Well not more than you" he said. She pushed him and went to the couch. He followed her and sat beside her. She sipped her juice. He watched as her tongue wiped the juice of her lips. He rested his chin on his hand and kept looking at her "Ram don't do that, I feel uncomfortable" she complained. "I know you're not uncomfortable, your blushing" he said. "Raaam please don't stare at me na" she begged. "Arrey but why?" he asked. "I am not able to see you when you see me like that" she said. He laughed "OK Ok sorry baby, now shall we leave, tomorrow must be a tough day, and you would make me walk miles for sure" he said. She got up and turned to him "well this time I will make sure that you walk more than you can imagine" saying she laughed. He got up and put his arm around her possessively "you liked it today na?" he asked. "It cannot be more perfect" she said. "Shall we leave" he asked. She nodded. They made their way to the room. Once they reached Priya opened her door and leaned on the wall facing him. "Coming in?" she asked. "No I will catch some sleep, and you too" he said. She nodded. He raised his hand and stroked her cheeks lightly "I love you, sleep peacefully angel" he said. "Love you too, take care Ram" she replied. He nodded "Gonna miss you" he said. "Just a night, go now" saying she locked the door.

She felt herself flying in the air. She ran to her bed and hugged her pillow tightly. She felt like the luckiest person in the world. Yes she was true he was driving her mad. She was in no mood to sleep. She took and dairy and started writing. After some time her phone rang and a broad smiled crossed her face hearing the peculiar ringtone she set.
