PART TWENTY FIVE
Priya woke up when the sun peeped in her room. She looked at Peehu whose sleeping posture was very clumsy. Priya compares sleeping Peehu with clock as Peehu traverses whole bed in a circle like a clock's hand. Priya makes tea for herself n read newspaper. After preparing breakfast, she wakes up Peehu n gets her ready for school. Priya badly wanted to know the truth behind Ram's bride hunt so she decides to leave along Peehu expecting Ram will come to her office in morning.
Peehu: aaj aap drop karoge mujhe school?
Priya: kyu nahi karsakti?
Peehu: aap drive karoge?
Priya:nahi...driver hai na... par tum kyu puch rahi ho?
Peehu: kyunki aap slow drive karte ho aur Peehu late hojati hai
Priya: accha meri wajah se late hota hai aapko
Peehu laughs: haan, aap hamesha late karte ho
"abhi batati hoon tumhe", Priya runs after Peehu.
After having fun for sometime, mother-daughter starts for their destination.
The staff was surprised to see Priya so early(9:30 am) as Priya never turns up before 10:30
Priya was waiting restlessly for Ram. She thought of calling Ayesha to know about Ram's marriage plans but then she remembers that Sid n Ayesha had left for Dubai last night. She wanted to call Ram to know about his arrival but as she can't call him directly, she asks Diya to do so. Diya confirms that he'll be coming by 11.
At 11 Priya's wait was over. Ram enters her cabin n makes himself comfortable in front chair of Priya. One look in Priya's eyes, he understood that his plan is working. He can see desperation in Priya's eyes to know the truth.
Priya: would you like to have some tea or coffee?
"yeh itna sweetly kyu behave kar rahi hai? Isey toh mujhpe gussa hona chahiye", Ram questions himself.
Ram: kuch nahi chahiye, thanks for asking
Priya: aapko kaisi ladki chahiye
Ram gives her a confused look.
Priya: aap apne liye ladki dhundh rahe hai na toh batayie aap ko kaisi ladki chahiye, dhundhne mai asani hogi
"iska dimag kharab hogaya hai kya? Mere liye ladki dhund rahi hai", Ram thinks.
"agar Ram ne is topic ko ignore kiya ya jawab dene ke liye waqt manga toh he is definitely not serious about it",
Priya explains her heart.
"lagta hai Priya pata lagana chahti hai k mai sach bol raha hoon ya mazak kar raha hoin, not so soon Priya", Ram smiles
at his plans.
Priya: batayie aapko kaisi ladki chahiye?
Ram: tumhare jaisi
Priya smiles n blushes but next sentence turns her red in anger.
Ram continues: nahi chahiye
Priya controls her anger.
Ram: ladki khoobsurat honi chahiye, smart n intelligent...jise business mai interest ho
Priya keeps listening to him with a fake smile on her face.
Ram continues: nakchadi nahi honi chahiye, gussa toh bilkul nahi hona chahiye, shant swabhav ki ladki chahiye
Priya thinks, "mere samne meri burayi kar rahe hai, how insensitive!"
Ram: meri jo girl friend thi na wo bahot attitude wali thi, pls aisi ladki dekhna jisme raddi bhar bhi attitude na ho
Priya's anger was reaching its peak but she controlled her anger
"ye Priya ko ho kya gaya hai? Mai iski itni burayi kar raha hoon aur y
eh react hi nahi kar rahi hai...chal kya raha hai iske dimag mai? Jo
bhi chal raha ho but mai iski aur burayi nahi kar sakta"
Priya sweetly: bas itni qualities hi chahiye sir
Ram: abhi ke liye kafi hai, mai chalta hoon
Priya sarcastically: jaisi hi mujhe aapke description ke mutabik ladki milegi, i'll let you know
Ram: thanks...bye
As soon as Ram left, Priya throws paper weight on floor to release her frustation.
"aapko shaadi karni hai toh dekhna mai aisi ladki se shaadi karwaungi aapki jo aapka jeena mushkil karde"
Priya was furious over Ram. She couldn't digest the fact that Ram really wants to get married. She wanted to speak to someone but there was none except Peehu and she was too small to understand anything.
At lunch,
After coming from school, Peehu starts narrating about her whole day activities. She notices that Priya is not listening her neither questioning her.
Peehu shakes Priya, "mumma kya hua?"
Priya: kya hua?
Peehu: aap udas ho, kisne pareshan kiya aapko?
Priya smiles: kisi ne bhi nahi
Peehu: phir aap udas kyu ho?
Priya smilingly: mai udas nahi hoon, see i am smiling
Peehu: badi wali smile
Priya gives a big smile, "happy now, accha aap apne new friends se kab mila rahe ho?"
Peehu: subah hi toh mile na aap kush se
Priya: ek aur friend hai na
Peehu: kaun?
Priya: jisko aap teddy bear bulate ho
Peehu doesn't know what should be her reply, she only knew that she can't reveal who is teddy bear unless Ram says.
"wo bimar hai na, jab school aayega toh aap mil lena", Peehu lies.
Priya: theek hai
Peehu: mai abhi jao
Priya: ok go aur time par wapas aajana
Peehu was excited as she was expecting that Ram will visit her n this time with chocolates.
Ram too remembers that Peehu must be waiting for him. He too have started liking Peehu's presence around him. He buys a chocolates box n goes to park.
Peehu sees that Ram has already reached. She fastly joins him. Ram hides the chocolates behind him.
Ram: you are late?
Peehu: mumma ki wajah se
Ram: kyu kya hua mumma ko?
Peehu: aaj mumma sad sad thi na
Ram: kyu?
Peehu: pata nahi, jab tak mumma smile nahi karti Peehu kaise aati
Ram: toh mumma ne smile kiya?
Peehu happily: haan
Ram: aap mumma se bahot pyar karte ho?
Peehu extends her arms to show: itna aur aap?
Ram: aapse thoda kam
Peehu: mere chocolates?
Ram acts as he has forgot: mai toh bhul gaya
Peehu's face falls down. Ram silently places the box in her lap.
Peehu excitedly: chocolates
Peehu places a kiss on Ram's cheek n Ram hugs her.
Peehu: mai abhi aayi
Peehu distributes the chocolates between her friends. (half box of chocolates was ofcourse given to Sharan...you are happy na Sharan) n she keeps three chocolates with her. She comes back to Ram.
Ram: saare chocolates baant diye?
Peehu: mumma kehti hai share karke khana chahiye
Ram pouts: mere saath share nahi karogi
Peehu hits her forehead: ye aapke liye hi toh hai(pointing to the remaining chocolates)
Peehu gives one chocolate to Ram, she takes one n she keeps one chocolate in her pocket.
Ram: thank you
Peehu: welcome
Ram: wo ek chocolate kiske liye rakha?
Peehu happily: mumma ke liye
Ram smiles at her. Ram asks her to wait for him n he'll come in a minute.
Ram comes with few roses in his hands.
Peehu excitedly: mere liye
Ram laughs: haan aapke liye aur aapki mumma ke liye
Peehu: mumma ko kyu?
Ram smiles: aapki mumma upset hai na toh aap unhe ye roses chocolate ke saath dena, wo khush hojayegi
Peehu: sacchi
Ram: sacchi mucchi
Peehu: ghar ja kar mujhe aapse baat karna ho toh
Ram: aap mujhe phone kar lena...this is my number
Ram gives his number to Peehu n they parts their way.
Priya's anger subside after continous thinking.
"mai hamesha over react kar deti hoon, pata nahi kya kya soch leti hoon; Ram aur shaadi...impossible! He is definitely trying to irk me, par kyu? I'll make sure k Ram ka plan flop ho aur wo khud accept kare k he was trying to irk me."
Priya planned something to irk Ram n she started working on it.
Peehu comes home all singing n dancing. Priya left her work n took Peehu in a hug.
Priya: kya baat hai aaj aap bahot happy lag rahe ho
Peehu excitedly: haan, iam very happy
Peehu gives chocolate n flower to Priya, "ye aapke liye"
Priya: my fav flowers...aapko kaise pata?
Peehu: mujhe nahi unhe pata
Peehu bits her tongue.
Priya: kise pata?
Peehu changes topic: mumma ab aap happy ho?
Priya: haan mai happy hoon
Peehu: mumma aap mere friend ke liye cake banaoge?
Priya: haan...kis friend ke liye?
"thank you", Peehu ignores the question.
Peehu: mumma home work karna hai
Priya: haan chalo
Priya helps Peehu in completing homework. After finishing home work, Priya goes in kitchen to prepare dinner n Peehu silently goes in room to call Ram. She dials Ram's number, Ram receivesthe call.
Ram: hello
Peehu: hello mai Peehu bol rahi hoon
Ram smiles: hello Peehu, kaise ho aap?
Peehu: mumma happy hai aur wo udas bhi nhi hai
Ram: that's good
Peehu: par Peehu sad hai
Ram: kyu?
Peehu sadly: Peehu ne mumma ko jhoot bola
Ram: mumma ko sorry boldo, wo aapko forgive kardegi
Peehu: wo toh Peehu ko pata hai, maine sorry card bhi bana liya hai
Ram: phir kyu sad ho aap?
Peehu: Peehu ke points cut hogaye
Ram: konse points?
Peehu: offo...aapko kuch bhi nhi pata
Ram smiles: aap batao na
Peehu: mumma kehti hai jab bhi hum accha karte hai bhagwanji hame points dete hai aur bura karo toh points wapas le lete hai
Ram keeps listening her without interrupting in between n with a huge smile on his face.
Peehu: jab hamare points hundred hote hai toh wo hame gift dete hai
Ram: aapko kya gift chahiye?
Peehu: doll house
Ram: ok
Peehu: mumma ne kaha tha 200 points hone par milega
Ram: ye toh sach mai badi problem hogayi
Peehu sadly: wahi toh
Ram: mai bhagwanji ko bolunga k wo mere points minus kare, aapke nahi
Peehu excitedly: sacchi...aisa hota hai
Ram: mai request karunga
Peehu: thank u
Ram: it's too late aap sojao abhi...good night
Peehu: good night
Priya's call was on waiting list, so Ram disconnects Peehu's call n receives Priya's call.
Priya angrily: kis se baat kar rahe the aap? Mai kab se wait kar rahi hoon
Ram teasingly: lagta hai kuch jal raha hai
Priya: aapka waham hai, mujhe aapse baat karne ke alawa aur bhi kaam hai
Ram: mujhe bhi; jaldi batao itni raat ko kyu phone kiya
Priya: aapki pasand ke mutabik ladki mil gati hai
"itni jaldi", Ram coughs.
Priya taunts: aap theek toh hai na? Have some water
Ram: thanks for your concern, i am fine
Priya: aap kal office aajayie, mai aapko baaki details bata dungi
Ram irritatedly: hum kal subah baat karte hai, abhi important meeting attend karna hai
"liar", Priya thinks.
Priya: I don't have any problem but kal time se aajana...mujhe late aane wale log pasand nahi
"jaise khud toh time ki bahot paband hai", Ram murmurs
Priya: kuch kaha aapne?
Ram: haan...good bye
Priya teasingly: good bye nahi...it should be good night
Ram : haan wahi...good night...bye
Ram cuts the call.
"Priya pakka mujhe irritate karne ke liye kar rahi hai..is ladki ko mai chodunga nahi", Ram decides.
"ab kal aayega maza, dekhti hoon kal Ram ka kya reaction hoga photos dekh kar", Priya smiles .
