Serial Thriller: We are still fans after 500 episodes of Bade Acche Lagte Hain'
Ram Kapoor (as Ram Kapoor) and Priya Kapoor (Sakshi Tanwar) will complete a long journey of 500 episodes with us tonight, a feat few successful Indian soaps claim unless it is an Ekta Kapoor show.
The mature romance blooming between Ram and Priya after they married for the sake of their families, way back, had kept us following the story of this lovely screen couple for past couple of years and we are still fans, aren't we?
But now, the story focusing more on their children has gotten a bit boring. We still watch for their sake but we'd rather have Priya healthy and happy and back in our lives.
The story has already taken three leaps, covering several years in one go, so far. The first was when Ram and Priya separated after her conviction in a false case and she gave birth to Pihu. The second came when they reunited and started living happily until Ram lost his business to Priya's sister. And now we have the children all grownup with Pihu (Akshita Kapoor) as the focus of the story. Industry buzz hints that Pihu will turn into a negative character. We seem to be getting that feeling too...
But I'm sure Ekta Kapoor must have planned to wake Priya from her coma to set Pihu straight, if that happens.
In the mean time, we have also heard that Rajat Kapoor (Samir Kochhar) is coming back to the show.
