Actually, I think you are spot on with this "fake marriage" thing whatever it means...this is just the sort of twist EK excels in... I can imagine Jhanvi confiding to Priya (who is in coma) that Karthik has never made love to her again as he loves only Nuts, and that she (Jhanvi) is in love with another man (Rajat?) . Then there'll be shot of Nuts eavesdropping behind a door and listening to all this...then Karthik will be forgiven and Nuts and he will be re-united (to the joy of Shipra, Sudhir and all viewers) with Jhanvi's blessings.
