Hi Everyone, the written update for BALH, 14th March 2013...
The episode begins with Kush and Pihu in the car with Nutz, playing at the back. Kush is very happy when Nutz tells him that the whole family was at home (Sharma House). The kids and Nutz come home and Daadi and Krishnaji are very happy to see them. Shipra gives them chocolates to eat. She tells them that the chocolates were waiting to be eaten by the kids!
Nutz says that the teachers and other kids at school were very happy to see Pihu. Pihu goes to get games to play with Kush. Soumya asks Kush if he missed his chachi and he says, yes. There is some lovely banter with the children and grown ups. Genuine emotions...the kids seemed really happy! Krishnaji and Soumya go to make food for the children while Shipra and Sudhir play with them. It's a happy-happy scene.
In the kitchen, Krishnaji tells Soumya that Kush looks so happy with all of them. He must be missing all of them in Kapoor Mansion. Soumya says that Kush is alone there. She says that if not for themselves, they should go back to Kapoor Mansion for Kush. Krishnaji also agrees. Yes, I'm sure even Ayesha will welcome you back because it seems that she's all alone...her side-kick Mamaji is running after Saudamini who's trying to get him hooked to her mom, Sush!
Ram comes out of a room I presume, it's Mr AssWhine's room.
He tells Priya that he's done the work and now he's hungry. Priya says that she's not hungry now. Ram asks her what happened. Priya asks Ram what was he doing, what was the need to tolerate all this...the insults, the humiliation; what was the point? Mmm...Priya, it's in the Creatives' script, Pg 10,005...line 20 which reads, Ram has to be insulted by Mr AssWhine AKA Ashwin. 
Ram says that it's just a job, what difference does it make? Priya says that it does make a difference. There was no need for Ram to do this. There are 1000s of jobs, they could do some other job. Ram tells her that it wasn't easy to get a job. They needed the work. Priya asks...this way? She says that she knows the kind of man Ashwin is...did Ram forget the things Ashwin did to trap her? How can we forget...Ram saved Priya's honour!
Priya says that Ashwin is doing all this to humiliate them, especially Ram. Ram asks her if they should run away, frightened because of Ashwin. Priya says that she is only suggesting that they work elsewhere. Ram is firm, he isn't going to leave the job because of Ashwin. Ram says that he knows Ashwin is trying to take revenge from him, but he can handle Ashwin. He is not scared of him. What could he do? Knowing AssWhine...he's of the Slimy Sid category. He can be the underhand devil but hope our couple are able to counter attack!
Ram tells Priya that she wanted challenge and adventures with him...this was their challenge; they should win it together.
Ashwin wants them to run away, frightened. Should they give him that satisfaction? Priya is still not convinced. Ram wants to face the situation and fight. Priya asks if it's worth it at the cost of self-respect? Ram tells Priya that she can find another job...but until then, they could work there.
Priya says that it's no point talking with him...Ram will do what he wants. But he was doing wrong and he would realise this soon. Nahiii...we don't want Mr Slimy Ashwin to hurt Ram's reputation...Priya, take back your words!!
Ram tells Priya not to think of him but of Maa and Daadi; they needed the jobs. Priya says she is thinking of Ram, there was no need for him to go through this humiliation but she was with him. Priya agrees that they will work there but she will not tolerate Ashwin's rudeness for too long. Yay...are we going to see a slap here also...from Priya to Mr AssWhine?
Pihu and Kush are drawing and Kush tells her about his drawing teacher who taught him how to draw a bird. Pihu asks that when she comes back to the school, the teacher would teach her too, right? Nutz and the rest of the family look worried. The children continue to draw and then Soumya calls them to eat. The kids sit down to eat. Krishnaji asks Sudhir...Pihu thinks she will go back to the same school, that school is expensive, isn't it? Sudhir agrees that it is expensive. He says that they have to talk to Ram and Priya and wonder if they can afford such an expensive school in the current situation. Please give us some sensible school searching drama...no jokes, this time.
Ms Ayesha Conda gets a call from a show organiser. She is late in attending a children's event. Ayesha has forgotten but lies that she's a bit tied up. The organiser says that a busy socialite like her must be tied up but they wanted to chose a mother and child from the event to be their brand ambassador...so he requests Ayesha to come with her child as soon as possible. Ayesha asks him to wait a bit but the organiser says that all the participants have come and they cannot wait. Ayesha cannot find Kush and says she will come alone but the organiser says that it was no use of her coming alone because it was an event where mother and child perform together. He tells her that he will call Ayesha the next time...Mother India, Ayesha! 
Ayesha comes down the stairs, shouting for Kush. The servant tells her that Kush is not at home, he has gone to his Naana Naani's house. Ayesha asks the poor servant...who gave permission for Kush to go there. Poor guy...must be thinking...your child, your parents' house...why are you screaming about permission at me!
Back at the cuckoo office, Priya has wrapped up work for the day. Super efficient Priya! She tells Ram that it was time to go home. Ram says that he has some more work left, he asks Priya to go first. Priya says that she will wait. Ram tells her not to...he will be late and Pihu will also be alone at home, she needs to be there. Ram, there is an over-crowded population at the Sharma House...Pihu is certainly not alone! Priya isn't happy but agrees to go. Creatives, Directors...a question, shouldn't Ram be wearing a tie? It seems like the dress code in the office. I know you want to show him as "Mr Poor" but a tie he certainly can afford, right? 
Ashwin follows Priya out to the reception and taunts her
...she was going home alone? Priya must have thought that they (she and Ram) would go home, holding hands, would sit together and work and she would feed her husband with her own hands. Ashwin says it's sad and this is what happens when people think that fairy tales are true. She married her prince, The Ram Kapoor but he has become poor Ram Kapoor. 
Priya is getting irritated. Ashwin says that her fairy tale's The End has happened so quickly. Why did she think he gave them jobs...for charity.
Priya gives him her best snooty look and says that it's 5 minutes past 6. She worked here from 9 to 6, not after that. She says, excuse me and leaves. Ashwin has a smirk on his face.
We come to the Shergill household. Sammy has a birthday party to attend and Rahul a date. They both argue who is going to stay at home with the dog. Neha says that they have to decide who is going to sacrifice between the two of them. Sammy says that all friends are coming for Abhay's birthday (Sammy's friend). Neha says that he has a point, she tells Rahul to ask Kady to come over...it could be a doggy-date. Vikram says that anyway, Rahul follows Kady like a puppy so today, he could take care of a puppy along with Kady. Both the kids leave their father with the dog and go. Vikram doesn't want to look after the dog after a hard day's work but Neha is not bothered...she leaves him to baby sit or dog-sit! Someone please tell me what is the purpose of this doggy track...is BT advertising on behalf of SPCA?
Ram comes into Ashwin's room, having finished all his work. Very good, Ram! Was this more work? Earlier Ram had done some reports too. He gives the files to Ashwin. There is some work which Ram has done before hand itself...Ashwin tells him that he had asked Ram to do that report only the next day. He asks Ram not to be over-smart and only do what he is asked to. Ram looks confident apologises and says that it was because of habit. Ram tells Ashwin that he had said in the morning that only work was appreciated in the office, not reputation (Ram's reputation). Ram says that he is trying to do work. He takes Ashwin's leave. Mr AssWhine is angry because he couldn't insult Ram!
The kids are enjoying playing...Nutz brings juice for them and says that she made it with her own hands. Pihu smartly tells her that she didn't use her hands, she used the mixie. Nutz is tickling Pihu and Kush also joins her...they are having a great time when Ayesha comes there. She screams out Kush's name. She asks him what he was doing there. Nutz says that he was spending time with his family, couldn't she see that? Soumya asks if they needed to take permission for this also. Ayesha says, yes...Kush cannot go anywhere without her permission.
She tells Kush to go and sit in the care. Nutz sends Pihu into the room. Ayesha says that she can file a kidnapping case against Soumya...Ayesha warns her...the next time, without her permission if Soumya tries to meet Kush...Sudhirji who is really angry interrupts her and asks what was wrong with her? What is not wrong with Ayesha is the question you should be asking. Sudhir says that Kush was his grandson and he didn't need anyone's permission to meet him, not even hers. Ayesha screams at her father and asks him...when Sudhir didn't consider her his daughter, how did Kush become his grandson?
Ayesha continues to insult her father and says...by keeping the people she had kicked out of the house, did he want to prove he's God? Did Sudhir think he was saving Kush from his mother. Seems like Kush is all ready to be the Gen next villian...if he is left with Ms Conda Shipra tells Ayesha to keep quiet. Ayesha doesn't want to and asks what her father has done for her. She calls her father Mr Sudhir Sharma when Priya who has come back home, turns her around and give Ayesha a slap!!!!!
Ayesha is shocked. Priya says, papa...he is our father. The man who left his dreams to fulfill our dreams, you are asking him who he is? Priya asks Ayesha if she wasn't ashamed. Why doesn't she see what wrong she has done? Priya says that Ayesha behaved badly with Pihu, she didn't say anything. Ayesha behaved badly with Kush and even then she (Priya) didn't say anything. Ayesha took advantage of Ram's innocence, sent the family members out of the house, didn't respect Maa and Daadi's age...Priya says that even then she didn't say anything. Priya tells Ayesha that she now realised it was her fault for keeping quiet. Finally...the end of Ek Hazaarome meri behna Ayesha hai... She warns Ayesha that if Ayesha behaved badly towards her house, family, her husband, her daughter or Kush...she would...Priya doesn't complete her sentence but gives Ayesha a firm look.
Priya tells Ayesha that she could do anything she wanted in her house. But this was her father's house and if Ayesha insulted her parents anywhere, she wouldn't tolerate it. Ayesha is shocked and in tears. Priya tells Ayesha to get out. The whole family is watching and Ayesha feels insulted. She leaves. Priya goes to her father and holds him.
Ayesha goes to see Sid. She hugs him and starts crying. Sid is bored but pretends to comfort her. Ayesha tells Sid about what happened and says that no one loves her and she is alone. Sid makes her sit down and says that it's only for a few days...after that no one will insult her. Sid tells her to take care of Kush. He assures her that everything will be fine, he was with Ayesha. Sid then says that those people were talking about Kush, they have forgotten that they have a daughter too. Now, what does Sid mean by this?
