She's been like that right from beginning of show. Priya has always bent over backwards for her family and Shipra can't seem to see past Ayesha. All because she was Miss something or other in her youth😆 so she wants to live vicariously through her.

If she does change it will only be temporarily as the thoughts are still fresh in her mind. She'll return to her old ways (if she changes at all that is)
